2 calls from this #...unknown in Atlantic City, NJ

I just had 2 calls - the first I missed and the second one, I answere.  It was a hangup.  I'll find out and get back to you!!!  This is a landline phone number and I just contacted the appropriate authorities to have it taken care of.  If you get harassing phone calls or hangups, kindly contact the Hightstown, NJ Police Department at 609-448-1234 and report this 71 year old person to them.  Just tell them it is a landline phone in their community and to please investigate the matter.  Good luck!

i am having the same problem keep calling every 15 mins and when i answer they hang up

Same thing happened to me lastnight! Oct. 12, 2010 - @ 8:15 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. eastern time-  In the course of 30 mins. I got 3 -4 calls one after the other within 7  mins. apart from eachtother- when I finally picked it up -and answered hello 3 times- (pausing in between)  for someone to say something ....NOTHING!! Then they waited 20 mins. and called again -my husband answered it this time, and still NOTHING!! Then after hubby answered it  - the calls stopped all of a sudden.

I've been receiving hangup calls from this number for 2 days. I googled the number and it is registered to a 71 year old person in Hightstown, NJ. I called the Hightstown Police Dept and the "recording" transferred me to the detective's department. I left a message asking they investigate this number. There were no more calls yesterday. This evening, it started again. I called the Hightstown, NJ police and the dispatcher told me that I need to report it to my local police, who will then contact them!!!!! That's our law enforcement hard at work on WE, THE PEOPLE'S, TAXPAYING DOLLARS!!!! I guess they are going to wait until numerous people who have been harassed by this jerk to be stalked and harassed to the point where it becomes a dangerous situation before they intend to DO THEIR JOBS!!!! Who cares who takes care of it . . . as long as someone of authority gets off their butts, stops eating donuts and takes care of the criminal!!!!!!!!!!!! Now I know why people take matters into their own hands!! I called Verizon's complaint/harassing department and they clock out at 5 PM!!!! So, I guess everyone who is being stalked and harassed has to deal with criminal behavior between the hours of 9 and 5!!!!!!!!!!!! Do you want to know where your hard earned monthly LARGE payments to Verizon are going? Not to take care of the consumers' needs!!!! That's for sure!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am getting continuous calls from this number (609-269-2392) as well.  Just hangups when i answer.  Late at night, and very early in the morning.  When i call the number back, you get a recorded message saying "thank you for calling the customer service dept ..."  I just reported to the Do Not Call registry.

Hi there,I am getting calls from this number since morning in every half an hour.whenver i pick no one says anything..just now i picked up the call and one of the lady spoke to me about the internet work from home and she asked for $5.99 for registration fees.I am confused whether i need to sart work or not.Please let me know what do u think about this call.

we were getting these calls at past 11pm edt.  Did any of you recently order flowers?  We are wondering if our information has been sold!

Must have called my house 50 times in the past 2 days..finally called it back and got a recording with the option to place my number on their do not call list so pressed it.....i'm already registered with the Do Not Call Registery so if they call again i'm reporting them.

I've been receiving a call from this number while I was in class. I've called my cell back to back! When I finally answered, it was a lot of noise in the background and then they hung up! I received the same message about "thank you for calling their customer service line" and to top it off, they called 5 minutes after I called them! WTF

I live all the way in Oklahoma and I keep getting calls from this number. I'm not sure how they got my number but either way, it is annoying. I don't know how to make them stop, or who to call. If anyone can help that would be awesome.
