Who is this?

We got a call and no one was answering. Maybe it is because we answered in another language than english first. We are so far away that it is either some joke or someone trying to pull some kind of a stunt.

I get this number calling all the time. The caller id says B R Interviewing. I never pick up and they leave no message on my answering machine.

Same as above.  No answer, just an open line.

They called 2 times on a Saturday.  Called mid-afternoon & just before 5:00.  Never left a message on the machine.  No clue who they are.  Caller ID says BR Interviewing.

They call at least twice a day.  Once I answered and they said they had a 3 minute survey they wanted me to do.  I told them I was on the other line and they asked when would be a good time to call back and I told them I didn't know.  Now they don't stop.  I report them to the Do Not Call List site every time they call too.  Very annoying.

DOn't bother with the Do Not Call list.  Supposedly they are not selling anything so they're exempt.  They have a web site where you can leave your number in order to remove your TN:

Called at 10:00 last night!! Tried to type in address, didn't work. Use the imbedded link on GRR.

They introduced themselves as a research company BRinterviewing.com.  They said they were not selling anything and that they were not part of the "DO NOT CALL LIST".  They  asked me the first ( and last) question:
WHAT YEAR WERE YOU BORN?

Got several calls today from this number. They say nothing, then call disconnects. They clearly are collecting/assemblling a database of "working" telephone numbers (i.e., numbers which get answered, thanks to hapless souls like us) and then they will sell the database to telemarketers. I called the number, got a long recording which states they are not subject to the do-not-call registry rules. Went to their website and asked to be removed from their list. I suddenly feel hell freezing over.....

i got a call from this # on dec.28 i never answer though. the caller ID says "PRINCETON,NJ" and then the number.

I had requested by email to the company president and vp to be removed from their calling list a few months ago.  They responded,apologized and said that my number would be removed.  There have been no calls since then until today.  But, I only spoke Italian. They seemed a little freaked out. :( They will be getting another email.

Dead air when answered - assume that autodialer incorrectly predicted availability of an agent. If answer and no agent is available the dialer disconnects on their end. Called the number (609-279-0220) back and received the same recording described above. Internet search indicates that BR Interviewing may be related to Braun Research Incorporated. I also get dead air when I answer the phone. I will go to the website and try to be removed so I get no more calls from these idiots. Thanks for all the info.

I received an annoying call on a Sunday afternoon asking questions. I do not entertain calls from strangers and this annoyed me.  My internet research provided me with more info on this company as follows.  I am considering faxing them at least 100 faxes repeatedly with questions so they can really understand how annoying and rude cold calls are.

They called about ten minutes ago. I didn't pick up and went straight to Google with the number (as I often do with weird Caller ID results).
