    Caller ID said Verizon.  Call is a recording about 'your credit card account' and 'there is no problem, but' at which point I hung up and added the number to my Digitone Call Blocker for the next try.

    As soon as I picked up, they hung up.  Very annoying.

    Credit Card scammers
    They called to tell me that they can lower the interest rate of my credit card, would not say which card. When I pressed 1 to speak with a representative, I clearly said "put me on your do not call list" and they hung up.

    I got a call from tis number and spoke to someone named David Hernandez, who said that I was approved by card services to lower my credit card rate. He started asking too much information about me and my cards so I hung up on him.

    Pre-recorded message about lowering my credit card interest rate, not from anyone I have a credit card with.

    Telemarketer, probably phishing, and an illegal pre-recorded call to a cell phone.  Hang up on them right away.
