A very poor computer generated voice saying “The IRS, the internal revenue service is filing a law suit against you” now there was no name stated just “you”. The message said that they have tried reaching me several time (which isn't true) and that I needed to call them back at this number. There is so many things wrong with the call that of course I am not going to call them back. 1. I don't and have never owed the IRS money. 2. No one have ever tried to contact me about the IRS before. 3. Why would the IRS program a computer to make a message rather than a person just calling. 4. Why would the call be coming from NJ when I live in WA and the IRS is in DC. I have gotten several scam calls over the years I will simply add this one to the list.

Received a call from this number this morning.  They left a partial voicemail, so the recording must have started the second the voice mail picked up.  Here's the message fragment:  "Case file. Please call immediately on our do apartment number 609-379-3746. I repeat 86093793746. Thank you."  Listening to the message itself, it sounds fuzzy, like a radio station that won't quite tune in.  From this site and others, it appears to be the same bogus IRS scheme reported by others.

I do wish 800notes would add a category for scammers.  This was not a telemarketer, but that category is the closest thing.

Got three calls from this number this morning just before 11 am. Claiming the IRS is filing a lawsuit against me and I owe money. I am under age and have never even had a job so it is impossible for this to be true. The voicemail was extremely fuzzy and sounded horrible.

Called three times just today.  I answered the third time and listened to a recorded message stating, "The IRS, the internal revenue service is filing a law suit against you” .......  "It is important that you contact us right away at 609-379-3746".
Obviously a scam call.  I have them blocked from my phone.

this number called my house phone Thursday at 10:29AM. I didn't answer the phone. They left a recorded message on the machine stating they were from the IRS and that this is an official final notice and the reason for the call is they are filing lawsuit against me. For more information on this case file immediately call them on their department number 609-379-3746. My caller ID said the call came from Bordentown New Jersey. I have also received two prior calls with the same message from these other two numbers 316-665-6118 from Wichita KS, and 908-387-7920 from Phillipsburg New Jersey. All three of the numbers had the same sounding message.

Received a message stating the irs was suing me. I was told the irs doesn't sue. Lol
