Telemarketer calling about extended warranty for a car.

We received a suspicious call from the above number. They refused to give their name or tell me why they were calling.

They call everyday and no one answers. When you call back, the number indicates a business in a Pacific Time Zone and it's never open. Im trying to sign a complaint against them now through FCC.

This number called 3 times today.  The first 2 times they hung up.  The 3rd time I answered "Operator" (a tip I picked up on another post).  A man with a very thick middle eastern-sounding voice said he was with the vehicle warranty department & asked for the manager by name, which he completely mispronounced.  I hung up at that point.  These scammers drive me crazy!

Got my first (and hopefully last) call from this number today. A telemarketer with a heavy foreign accent tried to sell me an extended warranty for my vehicle. Told him I sold the vehicle. He kept talking. I hung up.

Calles several times, I never answer but when I call back it indicates a business that is in pacific time and is never open.

A man that can barely be understood because of a thick accent, called to ask if I owned a specific type car....I asked who he was.....I told him that I didn't know him and why should I give him my personal info.....he hung up....same # called me the other day and hung up when I answered.....I called back and a recording comes on stating that this place is closed......

Number called from Bulington, NJ, obviously routed from a Pacific Coast number if people are saying they care calling back and getting a message with a pacific time zone.  They asked me about the year and make of my car (how did they get that info along with my cell phone) and wanted to discuss an extended warranty. Same thing-- thick accent, and I can't understand his name. They called yesterday, too.  Annoying.

On my caller ID  appeared  "Out of Area" with the "609.479.4077" number beneath it.  The cost of caller id is worth the price of admission.   If it were a local number, it wouldn't pop up as... "OUT OF AREA."  These people NEVER leave a message.

Remind Mr. Obama that while the Cold War with Russia is important,  we consumers fight a daily battle with clowns who hide behind phantom numbers.  Who needs the FTC / FCC when the Do Not Call registry is a joke?   I never answered the phone so who knows WHAT they wanted other that what posters have noted above

Receive a phone call 3 times a day from this number, caller ID appears as "out of area" 609-479-4077. Extrememly annoying and never leave a message and when I do answer sounds like a long distance call and takes about 45 seconds for someone to actual speak, and I am unable to understand the caller as they have a very heavy accent!!!

Same scam called twice today. I told them I was contacting  my dealership. Guy could barely speak english.

Got a call from this number a couple hours ago---left no message---to tell you the truth the only way to get rid of these people is when you are speaking with them---be belligerent---be nasty---and before you hang up on them---tell them to go----------

Got a call on my cell from this #, reluctantly answered it, no one there.

Please stop calling my number. Don't want what you're selling

They called my landline. Caller ID identified this number as "Unassigned". I did not pick-up and they left no message.

We keep getting calls from this #, when we call back the vim does not identify their Co! We do not want to get calls from this#

The area code for this number is Southern New Jersey ... not a Pacific Time Zone number ... hmmmmmm!
