Another day - another scam! No message left as usual.

3 rings, no message left.  (probably a spoof number on the caller ID.)

I dialed the number back and got an automated voice system that said I could press any digit to be removed from the list and it would take 24 hours. Let's hope it works!

they keep calling, area code is from new jersey, i don't know anyone in nj.

Caller ID was "    UTILITY."  Called previously from several other numbers.  Presumed telemarketer.

My caller ID said CRANBURY, NJ.  I know no one in NJ so I never answered.  Phone rang only 4 times and stopped, a sure sign of a robo scam caller.  I'm on the Do Not Call list, which has turned out to be a waste of time since no one in the government is doing anything to stop these abusive callers.

Caller ID and entering numbers such as this into my Pro Call Blocker's blacklist seems to be the only way to stop them.

I just got a call from "Cranbury NJ." Female voice left prerecorded message telling me that I have qualified for energy relief. Ugh. I don't know what the rest of the call was about because I disconnected it while it left the message on voice mail.  

Called at noon, no message, caller ID say "Utility"

Called at 2:02 PM PDT.  Caller ID showed "Utility" and this number. Intelius lists phone as landline in Cranbury, NJ. Definitely not my utility area. Phone answered by Sentry robo blocker.

These guys are busy.  Block this number.

I blocked them yesterday.  Called again today.  Caller ID says "utility'.  I agree that the DO NOT CALL list is useless.

Put the blame where it really lay's, with the criminals and illegal telemarketers.
The DNC works just fine. It is for telemarketers only and honest business does indeed abide by it. It is the criminals (which includes illegal telemarketers), frauds and scammers that do not. However, the Fed. DNC does not cover some survey's, Political or Charities.  You would need to check your states DNC laws to see if these are under your states DNC laws.  The fact remains that they are not automatic call blockers though and can not protect you from the calls that are criminal, illegal or fraudulent.

Do consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone..  You can google them and many are around $60.00 or so.

They've called 3x so far today - noon, 3:33 pm and 3:52 pm.  I got annoyed and finally picked up the phone the third time they called, said "hello" and no one was there.  I waited, no one answered.  Caller ID says simply "Utility"

I didnt pick up.  No message left.  Scam call perhaps.  Blocked call.

This number is for a company calling to "qualify" you for solar panels. Regardless of what they say, it IS a sales call. You can call them back and ask them to put you in their no call list. Very annoying company. They filled my voicemail up with their calls!

First time for calls from this number. The turds called three times in less than an hour. All caller ID showed was “Utility” so I didn’t answer. At least I now know it was from new jersey so that explains the putrid stench when the phone rang.

Left a recorded message:  "The state has determined that you are eligible for $1,000 rebate (tax credit?)...press 5 to obtain more information regarding an energy audit. Press 3 to not be contacted."
