If I don't know the number, I don't pick up.
It rang and did not leave a message so I am assuming it was a robot call and they were hoping I would pick up on the other end so they would know a real person lives here and they could start bombarding me with crank, scam phone calls.
Either way I have Phonetray and now their number has been blocked so no more bothersome rings.............outside of the ones I already hear in my head. HaHa.

They have called three times in the last two hours. I answered once they were trying to sell drugs.

Yep! stupid counterfeit pill pushers from Canada with a bunch of East Indian telemarketers calling and will not stop even though I've asked politely and had even come down to me eventually swearing at them. I forgot what the name of the company was (as soon as I heard an Indian accent I just hang up) but same company still calling all the freakin time using different numbers. Now I try not to answer numbers I don't know.
Oh. and the do not call list... piece of crap. doesn't stop them. I've also reported them to BBB- didn't help.

Did you watch ABC's 20/20 last Friday night? You should have. These pharmacies are not located in Canada. Many of these "Canadian" pharmacies, that have storefronts all across the USA, are bringing in pills from Asia & South America. If you saw ABC show lab test results of what's in these pills - you should hang up!

First time ever these scammers are calling from a NJ area code ( not foreign). Called back and nobody there. The fact that they can use indigenous area codes is gutsy and super irritating. BUT THEY ARE TRACEABLE. Wouldn't you like to see them get some instant justice. Never know. Until then,Just keep blocking.

I used to get a pain in my eye drinking tea, until I figured out to take the spoon out of the cup. Perhaps your agony will diminish if you get a call blocking device for landline, app for cell phone. Simple solutions are usually best.
