I kept hanging up on these people because I googled the number. I finally answered because they called so many times. The caller asked for Mr. XXXX, who is in our Marketing Dpt. I asked what his call was about, he started rambling, and hung up. Didn't call back. Telemarketer or scammer for sure!

Person called and asked for someone who doesn't work here.  They said they were from Raleigh Consulting and wouldn't give any other information.

Also received a call today, the guy has a strong Indian accent. The line was so bad that he proposed to call back ... nothing so far ...

2nd telemarketing call received in 10 mins from a different number the first one was from 717-321-1260

In the past few weeks, I have been getting calls daily on my direct line from people who are obviously calling from offshore (mostly Indian accents) through a US number.  They never identify themselves...just ask for someone at our parent company.  Most of the people they ask for no longer work there.  I have told them that they are calling my direct line and not the company and to stop calling but all they do is ask for the main number of the company.  I have stopped answering the phone when I see the number on caller ID...if I accidentally pick up, I just say wrong number and hang up.  It is a huge waste of my time~  

P.S.  There are calls from other numbers that are exactly the same...foreign accents, asking for people who no longer work for the parent company, etc.  It started about three weeks ago.  We have caller ID so now I don't pick up any calls that I don't recognize and if the caller doesn't leave a voicemail when I don't answer, I check the number to see what other people have said about it.

Just got another call from this same number.  Today, this was the third offshore caller looking for someone who used to work for our parent company. They call my direct line and always ask for someone who no longer works for the company and who never worked in my department. It happpened constantly last fall but when I started posting to all of the phony number sites, they stopped. They have started again...this was the seventh call in past two days (six today). I don't ask where they are calling from...I just say they have a wrong number and hang up.

No phone ID or message left so I did not answer it . Seems it may be a new spam number , if  it continues then I'll block it .

Heavy accented Indian man calling on behalf of "Patrick Burns" office. Asked what the call was regarding and he refused to tell me. Told him too bad, the calls are screened and I need to know the nature of the call. He ended up saying that he would 'get more information' and call back. I hung up on him. Caller ID said the call was from Trenton, NJ.

We had a call from this number asking to speak to a colleague.  When i asked where they were calling from they said "The Trade Group".  I asked what it was in connection with and they said they couldn't tell me but could only speak to that person.  They said "Kate asked me to call her".  Wierd.

Received a call from this number and it was an account manager from LogRhythm.

Been getting 3-4 calls a day from the following numbers, all telemarketers:

What a disturbance!

Some heavy-accented man called and asked for our IT Manager. I put the call through to voicemail as per usual. I wish I knew their actual phone number so that I could call and harass these several times a day to return the favor.

called me. left no msg. blacklisted.

Callers have been calling for weeks now.

Saying they are calling from Dwayne Penny's office at VIA - they won't give information and say they will call back at another time.

I have been telling them that someone already called and they say no one from this office has called - seriously?

Caller requested to speak with our CEO. Said her name was Ashley and she was the assistant for Mike Rockefeller. When I asked for her to give me some information as to what the call is about she just restated "My name is Ashley, assistant to Mike Rockefeller who has requested this call to be transferred." I told her I am unable to transfer her call without more information. She said she would get more information and call back.
Definitely felt like a scam call.

I've been getting calls to my desk phone from this number and those that other posters have listed since I attended a free Tech Conference in March.  I normally don't give that number out to anyone but my children's school and important business contacts.  However, providing professional contact information was a requirement for attending the conference and we were "encouraged" to leave our business cards at the exhibits in order to win door prizes.  I have been getting calls from other conference attendees as well, but I consider those calls legitimate.    I think these telemarketing calls are the result of the conference organizers selling my contact information to whoever they could get the money from.  I was getting no telemarketing or scam calls on my business phone before that conference.  Fortunately, I have Caller ID and have a habit of ignoring calls from numbers I don't recognize.

The lesson learned here is:   No more "free" conferences and don't give my business card to strangers.

I recieved a call AGAIN from 609-858-6398.  I did not answer because I knew it was a scam caller.  I went from getting zero scam calls to about 10-15 per week after I attended a tech conference "Tech Junction" to be specific!!!  It is obvious they sold my contact information and now the phone calls and emails are non stop!!!!

Received a call from 609-858-6398 but left no message. Second call this week from 2 different numbers (other being 312-614-1338). Sounds like the same scam others are getting.
