Received a voicemail saying they were some enforcement for some legal action and that ignoring the message will mean they take action or some nonsense.  If they don't state your name or what it's about it's a scam.... DELETED

Phishng scam

Received call which was a recording from above number.  Caller, with a heavy Indian accent,  identified self as James Caston with the US. Treasury Department.  Said they were going to take enforcement action against me with a Magistrate Judge or Grand Jury.  Said there was criminal action against me.  Called number back to mess with the guy and all I got was recorded music.

I got a call from this number as well it was called to my son's phone when I answer the phone this morning approximately 7 something 8 in US Standard Time it was a man recorded voice and it said my real name not my real last name and said the same thing that if I did not contact a Magistrate Judge or a US grand jury would be taking place when I called back I got recorded music and eventually was given to a voicemail which I left a voicemail and I'm doubting that I should have never done that and no one ever called back I tried calling back and still nothing today's date is. 04,05,2016.. I tried calling the number back pretty much all day still the same thing never got a call back and it's just really weird Googled and this is what I get from my understanding the IRS will not call they will send a letter and I've seen something on the news about some similar situation that to be cautious and careful about people calling I'm trying to say that they are with the IRS that it is a scam my guess I will be calling the IRS

James Caxton left a voice message (with a heavy East Indian accent) claiming some kind of legal action against me. Blah, blah, blah. I blocked the number.  No doubt this is a scam.

James Caxton with caller ID showing Avalon as the location he was calling from stated their is a class action suit against me from the US Treasury. If I ignore the message I will have to appear before the magistrate. He said to call him back so he can help me. I am so sick of these scammers calling me.

This James guy must be a very hard worker in order to threaten so  many people with criminal prosecution. He's so busy, in fact, that he doesn't even say who he is calling, just "you." The US Treasury web site acknowledges this scam, but apparently wants a report only if you were conned and sent in money. Otherwise, report them on www.donotcall.gov.

Don't waste your time calling him back.
Plus you just give them a caller ID so they can pass your number on to the next SCAM

I received a call from this number on my cell phone.  ERRRR!!  It was a recorded message from John Caxton.  Tried to call back to tell them to take me off their calling list.  Only reached recorded elevator music.

Have gotten several calls from this number. Today the caller left a voicemail identifying himself as James Caxton . His message was that I should call him back or I would be in trouble with the US Treasury. Will report to Donotcall.gov

This is fraud.  Ignore this call and report him to your local Attorney Generals office and the IRS.

Claimed to be from the IRS in Avalon, NJ...I don't think so!!!  Defintely a scam
