I couldn't understand the name of the company you were calling from. I don't recall apllying for a job with this company.

Message from "American Income" saying she had questions about my resume.

Got the same message. I guess its total BS

Message from Carl said he had my resume and had questions. Most likely some BS job in sales that i didn't apply for. Pulled my resume off career builder.

My understanding of American Income Life is they're recruiting bodies for entry-level insurance sales positions. You're not an employee getting a salary but an independent salesperson earning commissions only. AIL claims they have solid leads but what I've read is you end up hassling union workers (AIL markets heavily to unions) to buy more insurance. There's also mention of a MLM structure implying your up-line will gain financially from your recruitment and why they're recruiting like mad on so many phone numbers. Google "american income life scam."

Call from Karl, questions regarding my resume

I made a resume on Monster.com but didn't apply for any job. Received an email from someone named Karl from Human Resources saying he received my resume and that someone from his company will be calling me shortly. Trying to recruit people to sell insurance independently I assume. If you try calling the number back, you will just get a busy signal.

They called my house line and left a message.  When I tried to call back it was a busy signal.  I never applied to anything with them so I'm guessing they got my resume off a website and wanted me to do entry level sales, etc.  My call was from Eric Wood at number 610 277 5591 with an extension of 2385.

Don't call!

Unbelievable.  

I recieved a phone call from this number, the woman also said she was interested the resume I posted.  She said she was from American Income and had Management and Sales postiions available.  

I told her my husband was in sales, I told her if I were to take a job in sales, I would need to know more about the company.  She asked what industry my husband was in, I told her the auto industry.  With a sarcastic, smartass tone she says, "Well, no one is buying cars right now."  

Surprised and a bit disgusted by her attitude, I politely replied, "He owns a luxury car dealership."  

She says, "Whatever, good luck finding yourself a job"  and hangs up the phone.  

Even if the company is legit, their employees that make the phone calls are rude and ignorant.

Weird call

Just received a call from 6102775591. didn't really catch the name of the company because they caught me at a bad time but after reading all these post I know know it's a scam and will not be going to the interview that they set up for me. I knew something wasn't right when they were OK with me calling off my current job to go to their interview. Had to look it up just to be sure. Just remember people this is not the only number they call from, be warned.

I received a call today from the same number.  I asked her 3 times to repeat the company's name, since every time she said it she slurred right through it.  I didn't apply to them, but they got my info off of the resume posting on monster, which I have changed to private with all of the other bogus emails I am getting with scam jobs.  I asked her over and over what was the exact position they were trying to fill, and she couldn't answer and said good luck with your search and hung up.
