- CC replies to jayJust got 3 calls back to back from 610-279-4801. First call- no message. Second call- the woman left a VM asking for Keisha (which is not my name) Third call- no apology for calling me Keisha and a voicemail stating that she is looking at my resume, and has a few questions for me. The woman referred to herself as "Ms." and then her last name. I am sorry, but it sounds like a cheesy collections call- I have never received a call from a Human Resources Department in which the person referred to themselves formally. It sounded extremely tacky- and if they are calling and recruiting in a call-center method----sounds like a job I should stay far away from.
- JLPclearly a scam

- RoseH205I received a call today and "Carl" left me a message about my resume and some questions he wanted to go over with me.... I was so excited but honestly, I've applied to so many companies over the last few weeks - I couldn't remember applying to "American Income"... Thought I was going crazy from so much job searching. Looked through all my cover letters - no "American Income." I plugged the call back number into this site - 610-279-4801 - and ... well, I'm not very excited anymore... :(
I also posted my resume on Career Builder and Monster - so there's the link.- Caller: American Income

- CamYeah I got a call from them saying they have my resume. And that I should call back, I never did form what everyone else is saying. I looked them up on-line they are some kind of life insurance company.
- NotBuyingIt| 2 repliesCallerID shows this number but the person left a message about a resume asking to call him back at (610) 279-4801, said his name was Craig Silverton with American Income.
- Ringo replies to NotBuyingItI just spoke with Craig. It's not a scam. However, they called out of the blue with no explanation as to what kind of business they are. He refused to tell me how they found my resume. He wanted to interview me immediately but I told him I needed to know more about the job and what my duties would be before I would agree to a meeting. American Income is located in Plymouth-Meeting, PA and sells benefits to labor unions. It is a commission only sales job, but not a W-9. I turned down the interview.
- blondee replies to NotBuyingItI also recieved a call from Craig Silverton or silvertein-- from the same number- said he saw my resume' and would like to speak to me-- the only place I have my info posted is snagajob.com not to sure if I want ot call it-- it's probably telemarketing. I also got an email from a American Life insurance company..not botherung with that one either.
- sasquatchI also received a hurried message from "Carl" who hung up so quickly the voicemail didn't capture the last digit of the telephone number, which (out of 10 possibilities) I figured out to be 610-279-1861. Thanks for your posts and saving me the time of returning the call.
- jjosieThanks for your post Ringo so I didnt waste time. I got an email (We Received Your Resume From Monster) "Hi, my name is Fred Hadayia and I am a State Director for American Income. - Stephanie| 1 replyI too just received a vm from Carl with American Income. He said he received my resume and has a few questions to ask me. First off...I never applied to American Income. He said to call him back at 610-279-1861, even though my caller id said 610-277-8832. This company sells Life ins. to unions. Not sure how he received my resume, but what I don't understand is how he got my home ph# in being that it is NOT listed on my resume...only my cell, and we have an un-listed home ph#. Really bizaar. Not interested is all I can say, and certainly not wasting my time contacting them.

- Julie replies to StephanieThanks everybody! I was picking my brain trying to figure out the message and who I had sent my resume to. You have been a great help! I recently signed up with Career Builders and have been getting lots of "I've received your resume emails.
- MikeI posted my Resume on Monster and have been getting calls ever since. They left a message the 1st time and I wasnt interested in the position at all. But they still keep calling.
- Caller: No message
- PedroThanks for all the information , Just received a call from Carl 610-277-5429 who informed me that the regional manager had reviewed my resume on line and was very interested in interviewing me. My thought was ..Excellent a job opportunity! He then wanted to know what my most recent job posting was, when I started to tell him about my experiences he cut me off and asked if I was open to new experiences, possibly management. This hit me as odd, but I am seeking employment, so I scheduled an interview
I decided to check out the company . From all of the other web sites and finally this one, Its an apparent that this is for lack of a more accurate term a "SCAM"... Thanks for all of the input, you saved me from wasting my time driving over there.....
I also have posted on Career Builder and Monster
