I have been called several times by Progressive asking for a person who I don't know. Worst yet, I have told them not only is the person they're attempting to reach (someone named Stephen) gave them a wrong number and they STILL keep calling. ERG!

That is also happening to me.  And worst yet it is a cell phone so it is using my minutes.  I have called them several times to let them know that they were calling the wrong number and to stop.  It stops for a while then starts again.

They have called several times and do not leave any sort of message. They are calling on my cell phone as well.

harrassment threating of garnishing of wages when debt has been settled with dept of education.

calls just about every day in the morning and afternoons. when you pick up it is a machine or hangs up. now i just let the machine answer the machine. when i did get a person i told them they have wrong number but they keep calling it has been this way for several months. they won't stop calling.

Get your Phone number changed & report Progressive to the Federal Trade Commission, keep a record of the calls & the times called.  Leave the information with FTC in a written complaint sent CERTIFIED MAIL to their offices in Washington, DC.

yes, i got call from this number all the way on the other side of United State. Seems like a debit collecting agency.

Yes, these calls are extremely annoying. They have been going on for a long while, and just found out it was this phone number.
What can be done to stop this?

Has anyone reported this to the company headquarters?

I just filed a complaint with the FCC against this company by going to the website http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm and filling out an easy form.  When I told Progressive FNC that I filed, they hung up on me.  Maybe if enough people file, it might have an impact.

A live body left a message asking for person in our house.  Correct name but wrong info.  Fishing for info. or numbers and won't give them to them.

I have been getting calls for MONTHS from this company asking for a Shawn/Sean Dallas.  They won't stop no matter what I tell them!!!

They call my cell & ask you to hold; sounds like some kind of a con using a middle man.

My mother got a call from this number, for me, telling her that I had applied for a job.

that the call came form the "Progressive" debt collection company that calls me nearly every day.

So, this is a lie, they lied to my mother.

Not the first lie they've told me, either. The first call I ever got from them, they told me that they had sent numerous letters to me to which I had not responded. They called many times, more than once per day, for over a week before I got the FIRST letter from them, which identified itself as being the first letter from them.

Since the very first words out of their mouth was a lie, I knew they were crooks, so I refuse to give them even the tiniest iota of personal information.

I also have received several calls on my pet minute cell phone.  out is annoying and I do not have minutes to waste either.

they called me and it came up as (not in contacts) then when i answered it, it was for some dude name robin v? idk who that is but it ticks me off when that happens

BRAVO..never thought of calling the FCC..this # also came up on my cell phone. How do they get our cell #s..It's harassment totally.

Very questionable practices.
I continuously receive calls from various collection agencies for a man I have never even heard of, this number is one of them.
What's worse is when I blocked their number via Verizon's website they immediately changed to a 9 digit caller ID so they could circumvent the block and make it impossible to block them via Verizon (which only accepts full 10 digit numbers).
I will be reporting this company like all the previous as I'm not even sure they are legit.

I as well blocked with verizon's blocking abilities..called with a 9 digit #...filed complaint with the FCC..total harassment...and how the heck did they get the cell #s????? I never give out cell #'s to anyone but family and friends and no they wouldn't give it out...but would like for them to quit calling..how to make them quit if filing with FCC about it doesn't work. Getting old
