Caller ID show PWR. They call frequently but nobody there.

Pretty sure it's a scam.  I have talked to them several times.  The say they are Choice Electric.  Funny thing is, I've searched the internet, called Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission, and PPL and no one has heard of them.  They are very pushy, telling me they have to get me locked in right now for their low rate and tell me to go get my most recent bill.  I have refused every time.  Last time I told the girl I was done with them harassing me and to take my name and number off their list.  She got a total attitude with me and said "well 39 other companies are going to call you, if we aren't"  

They are Quanta Services Inc  www.quantaservices.com  (PWR on the stock market) they are selling electric services. The person calling from this number is probably a local rep who is paid commission on every switch over. She is based out of the home and does this for extra income. This is one of the biggest telemarketing issues today due to deregulation.

For me, after having told 3 callers to take me off their list (and having one of them hang up on me when I asked to do so), the call girl told me that 131 other companies were going to call me, not only 39.  I guess some telemarketing harassers have been given rights to harass people without reprimands.

Complete agree, so pushy. Not sure how they even received my number, as the number they called me from ISN'T even connected to a PECO bill.

Have received multiple calls from this number.It shows up on caller ID as PWR and as the same number as it does for the rest of you.Sometimes someone answers when my husband or me pick up and say hello,other times when we say hello it's completely silent or we just hear someone breathing on the other end. Told them stop calling they wanted to argue and get very disrespectful and loud,told them we on the DNC list we were told that doesn't matter or effect them.Told them they have called over 7 times in 5 hrs and they said not true after I said it's saved on caller id.My husband and myself are tired of it and starting to feel like it has become a harassing issue.How can we all come together and figure out how to end the harrassment?

Same experience as the rest of you - the person on the other end doesn't seem to know how to leave a message on an answering machine either.

They do the same thing to me. Fortunately I am an independant contractor for a respectful energy provider who doesn't need to call 10,000 people a day to lie to them that they used to be their provider. We don't do business like this. Our business revolves around friend and family and the word of mouth. Not like these choice energy yahoos. Defiantly a scam, Choice Energy will harass you for months, if you answer the phone and tell them to stop calling. The lady says every time someone answers or to those who call them back will cause the system to reset you number.
Now they call me early morning and late in the afternoon every day, even tho I requested to not be called anymore, or Id call the FCC. Its a shame to not be able to make them stop.
They also pass your number to other companys.

They have called many times at all, hours day and night not leaving messages, not answering when I say something or usually with the wrong name. I have told them numerous times to stop calling but they don't. Today they had my name and I told them AGAIN that I've told them not to call me anymore. This is ridiculous. I pay how much extra money a month to have a private number and block 800 number calls and still get these.

Months is right. It just doesn't stop!

This is a total scam trying to sell a discount electric plan. Choice energy. These losers have been calling everyday for months & they will not stop! Their rude & don't understand NO, Also from 1-860-207-8374. I filed a complaint with the BBB & FTC . I'm hoping someone starts a class action law suit against them for harassment.

I've told them to quit calling me and I've even had people show up my house! I'm not sure if the two scammers are related to the same scam but it's ridiculous. I'm happy with what I have and if I wanted anything else I know how to shop. I've told them numerous times I'm not interested and to remove my name from the call list and yet they still call day and night. Someone start a law suit against this kind of harrassment so we can all get some peace and quiet.

This "Choice Electric" so called company is relentless. They will not stop calling and harassing  me! They call every day using different telephone numbers. This has been going on for months! Today I answered and cursed them out, and told them not to call again and then hung up. It's to bad I've had to resort to being nasty on the phone but I have no other choice!
