called but no one was there

I get a call from this number at least once a week and no one is ever there. I'm worried it's one of those people that dials your number and can charge their calls to your phone!

The directory says it's an insurance company, but when you click on the website, it takes you to a different page entirely, and all the contact information is different as well

we have been getting this number but we don't pick up because we don't know it.

i called rogers and had to add their screening package. They had been calling roughly 6 times a day.

Rings and nothing is there. Called them, got a # to be added to a no call list. Called that #. Call will not go through. Sometimes they call 6 times a DAY. I'm really sick of them.

Got another call from this number today. I did a quick Google search and found the following info relating to this phone number. We should all call this company and bombard them with phone calls!

I too get calls from this telephone number, my provider Rogers cannot block incoming calls from a specific number. My only suggestion is you changing your number

Got calls from this number several times. No one there. It is really sick!

I have a Fido, and I see that people from Rogers are also getting these calls. People only do this kind of thing for money. I bet anything this was done by rogers and fido as they are the same company now. In an effort to increase profits as people will stat to sign up for the screening package. any thaughts? This is my theory as by the looks of it this number itself is not making money off these calls therefore someone must be.

called yesterday on my home line, and today on both my cell and home line.  I did not answer, and there was no message left, but I can see from checking out the internet that many people are receiving calls from this number with no person

calls started after I added the phone number to a do not call registry

I just had my first call from this number.  I thought it odd I was receiving a phone call from Pennsylvania!!!  I just added my number to the "Do Not Call" registry on Sept. 30.  This is my first phone call from them, and I am always suspicious of people calling my CELL phone that is not on my contact list.  If I do not know who they are, I do not answer!  I am with Telus, so it is not just Fido and Rogers related.

I too have been getting calls. I called the number back and from the automated message it seems like telemarketing. The number they left on the message was 1 866 615 5583 , and is to be called if you wish to be added to the "Do not call" List.

I have answered to this phone call, and they asked me some questions about customer service of the Volkswagen dealer where i bought my new car. This phone number is hook up to TRG who is a business solution company who work with BMW and Volkswagen since the last 25 years, doing the customer service survey for those companies. Maybe they have a telemarketing branch, i'm not sure...i need to investigate more on them.

Dont forget the Do not call list is only for canadian telemarketing companies, if they move their calling office to USA, they cannot be suit or receive any fines from our canadian governement! :-(

If some telemarketing companies are smart enough, they will move their offices out from canada, and keep going with phone calls to canadian residents!
