This number keeps calling but no msg. ..I called and says its a non working number

This number has called my phone 14 times since Friday 8/1/14. Answered it one time, just an open line with no communication from the other end. (Pennsylvania)

Keeps calling me today. Refuse to answer a number that I don't recognize and the name does not come up on the screen.

THIS NUMBER CALLS NO ONE SAYS ANYTHING. CALLING EVERY 10 MINUTES

Modern technology has given telescammers the tools to call you.
Since those telescammers are criminals, they ignore both the Do Not Call list and any request you might make.
Modern technology can also protect you, if YOU do a few simple things!
The most effective thing to do is to get a call blocker device, service or app.
Then, use it correctly.

Google "call blocker" for more information, or visit Amazon or similar sales site.

If you cannot afford or use such a tool, then:
* Do not answer calls from unknown numbers ... let them go to voicemail or answering service
* Do NOT return calls from unknown numbers!  All that does is verify your phone number!  And, in some cases, those return calls may cost $20 or more to complete.

* If you have a "dumb" cell phone, assign the scammer's number to a group named "scammers" (or similar).  Then, assign a silent ringtone to that group.

they called me three times on the 6th of aug  very enoying

iTS AN AUTO DIALER AND IF NO ONE IS AVAILABLE IN 7 SECONDS IT GOES DEAD THEN HANGS UP AND GOES BACK IN THE AUTODIALER AS NO CONTACT MADE TRY AGAIN

If you wait a few seconds an outsourcer comes on the line and says that he knows It was reported that I am diabetic and wants me to get my meds through their company. They used to call me on house phone and I asked them to take me off theiir calling list and they didn't so I blocked it. Now they started calling on my cell and now I had to block them from this also. Won't let me get a word in edgewise and it is some iranian or indian. These outsourcers are very dificult to get rid of and won't take no as an answer.

They call 5 to 7 times every night between 5 and 9PM. I figured out how to stop them. after hundreds of calls for weeks. I bought a stadium blast horn. the small handheld ones. You can get them at walmart are costco. it is a very small hand held air horn.  wait a few second and a live person will come on the line. You know they are wearing a head set. put the horn up to your phone and blast it for 3 to 5 seconds. you will get a call back in about 5 minutes from a supervisor. He will say you busted the eardrums of the first caller. Blast him too . I have not received anymore calls. sometimes nice doesn't work! If I ask you not to call me more then twice, and you refuse to listen, then I have no problem blasting your eardrums. And No it does not make me feel bad at all. You were asked nice to stop! Taking control of my phone the best way I know how.

i continually keep getting calls from the number: (610) 850-9172. when i answer, noone says anything! even if i wait 20 seconds!!! it is really annoying me! what can be done???

Received 8 calls from this number over the last 2 days.
When I called it back from a different number there was no answer

was a very nasty pornographic call, asking for me personally and saying very sexual stuff to me.

How do I get these guys to stop calling. No one answers when I pick up our call back

i called the number back and it just rang call came from pottstown PA

They called my cell phone asking if "..." Had diebetes, which happens to be similar to me and my dad's name. After I answered that my dad had diabetes, some dude with a thick Indian accent asked for his birthday and what kind of medical insurance he has. After he asked for the birthday, i answered i dont know, which was coincidently true, so he said he'll call back tomorrow.
After reading comments on this page, I'm deciding to block or ignore this number

I keep getting calls from 610-850-9172.  When I answer, they hang up.  I DO NOT WANT TO RECEIVE ANY MORE CALL FROM THIS NUMBER.

Yep, called me about 6 times so far.  Had to create a contact in order to block them.  Also reported on DoNotCall.gov for what ever that's worth.

It's not worth much.  You caller is a foreign scammer committing fraud by filing false claims on insurance based upon the information you (and others)  give them.  The responsibility lies beyond the Do Not Call Registry.
