A message was sent to my phone purportedly from Penn Liberty Bank, Pa.  stating that my credit card had been blocked and provided a call back phone number.
I called the bank directly and they said it is a scam to get my real credit card information.

Received a text saying my VISA #4241 has been disabled call back at 610-990-3352. I called back because I was having an issue with my actual VISA card. Once it asked me for my entire card number, I hung up and called Visa. SCAM

This number was listed as a call back number from a similar text I received, stating that my State Bank Visa checkcard is disabled.  Text originated from 610-329-8298

ruh roh - is that actually the last 4 digits of any card you have?  If they have that much, you might want to contact your bank directly and as soon as possible

Got the same text originating from 610-329-8298 about a "STATE BANK ALERT"... to me this is attempted theft, if you come to my house and attempt to rob me, you will die... slow and quite painfully. I think the same should apply to these scammers...

Penn Liberty, Visa lock, realized it was B.S. since the acct # is unrecognizable

Someone trying to get me to give my DebitCard info.  Never answer to anyone except your actual bank! Remember, NEVER give any info to anyone who contacts you! Call your bank directly to deal with them.
