Anybody know who this number belongs to??  Caller ID only said Minneapolis MN.

Got a call from them a couple minutes ago.  As a standard practice, I don't answer calls from unfamiliar numbers so I didn't answer this one.  They didn't leave a message on VM, so I must assume they're up to no good....phony telemarketing, trying to collect a debt from 20-30 years ago, or some other nefarious scam intended to steal credit card info or whatever.

My policy has always been that if you have the opportunity to leave a message about the nature of your call, and you elect not to do so, then your number will be forever "blacklisted" on my call blocking system and my phone will never ring again when you call.  And, have a nice day (you low-life scum)!!!

It is a scam. I picked up and its a robo call trying to say I have a problem with my credit card. The old phishing scam hoping you'll take the bait and compromise your info and CC #.

Avoid this number like the plague.

    Thanks for the reply Tired!

I too am very tired of all the BS robo calls that call daily from all over the place.  The call blocker device that I purchased last June already has 238 blacklisted numbers and the list is growing every day.  Best $40 I've spent in a long time...the peace and quiet is worth every penny!

    Thanks again!

Received a call on my office phone at 12:55 Eastern. I did not recognize the number so I did not pick up. No message was left, the caller (robo caller?) disconnected. There was no caller ID name so I automatically assume that this is a scam call.

Brand new spoofed number for Consumer Svcs.  The pattern has been for them to call six times from a number, discontinue calls for a couple of days, and then begin repeatedly calling from a new number.  The number they spoofed just prior to this one was 404-381-1115 (a number listed online for an Atlanta law firm).

The card service scammers   WILL   'service' our credit cards,   BUT,   when they finish 'servicing' them, they will have NO available credit remaining! People that are fooled into having their cards 'serviced' will be charged a MINIMUM of $795.00, and many times the ENTIRE amount remaining on the card. The card service scammers are a disgusting group of degenerates, who prey mainly on the low income, and the elderly, but will cheat anyone that they can!

The credit card scam artist have spoofed a new number.  The system didn't even wait for me to speak.  It just started immediately, saying, "This is a very important call about your credit card--"  I slammed the phone back down and blacklisted the number.  I wish these scam artist would all contract a horrible, disfiguring disease, preferably one that renders them sterile.

I've only received two calls from this number in five days, which is a break in pattern.  They have, however, made "private caller" calls.  I wish nobody would ever answer, and they'd give it up.

I have had a few calls from the above number.  I don't answer and they didn't leave a message.  The ID said Consumer Svcs.

Another call stating, "This is a very important call about your credit card...this is your last and final notice."  Not a week goes they don't leave a message.  I asked to speak to a supervisor.  I was told I was "too white" to have my name taken off their calling list.  If I could have reached through the phone line, there would be one less scammer in the world.  The FCC does a WONDERFUL job in keeping these calls under control. NOT!

Whatever you do, do not give them your real personal information to these scammers. Instead, waste their time and laugh at them. If we can enjoy doing everything we can to make the scammers' job satisfaction a minus 10, we can expect them to get fed up before we do.
