Caller said from United Healthcare Benefits Department trying to find out how many employees, how many full time, who eligible for medicare etc.

This number(612-234-9000) call very early in the morning. I did not answer and they did not leave a message.

This is not a scam - this was a call back from United Healthcare - I had requested information

It was United Health Care that manages my company's employee benfits. Calling to verify that I receive all the infomation I needed.

One ring....then hangup/silence???????

Called this afternoon. I did not recognize the number. This is from UnitedHealth the parent company of the company I work for and is legitimate.

IT'S UNITED HEALHTCARE AND THEY APPARENTLY DON'T KNOW HOW TO LEAVE A MESSAGE. I'M IN MEDICAL BILLING AND YOU CAN'T CALL THIS NUMBER BACK CAUSE IT'S A GENERAL NUMBER.

I called them back with the 800# they left...United wanted to know about past treatment (recorded for "quality control reasons").  Then the questions turned into different subjects...got the feeling they were on some weird "fishing expedition"...

I just checked another message board and they said they checked with UHC and the number was not theirs.

The message I received said they were the Coronation of Benefits Dept. on behalf of my insurance company. Asking me to call back 866-783-9371 with an 5 digit extension.

If you don't say my insurance provider your not them.

Received a call from this number and it was my tenant who left a message, but the call originated from this number. Not sure how that is possible as I am located in Canada.

Very odd.

Per HIPPA the company cannot leave the name on your answering machine or have it appear on the caller ID. Yes I working in the Coordination of Benefits department for UHC we are real the the number left on the message is us.

This caller keeps calling and tells me that I would be better off changing my health care plan because of the new healthcare reform plan

I inform HIM that I'm happy with my current health care plan and when the day comes that I need to change I will be well informed on who I chose next and not accept a call out of the blue from someone  I do not know. Then he abruptly hangs up on me.

End of conversation.

This is a United Health Care number. They just called me to tell me my surgical procedure scheduled for next week was approved.

There was no scam. They just provided me info I was waiting to hear.

This is AUHC # they were tring to find out if we had another insurance that could bill.

Left no message & if it's United Healthcare, they sure weren't following up with me on anything, as I've never contacted them or even looked into them.

UHC transferred a health insurance subscriber to the wrong number so I did what I could to get him to the right number, UMR by looking it up on the internet.

I work for United Health Care/ UMR, This is a legit number that we are either calling you back to update information for serveral reason.  We can not leave messages her the Hippa Law w/out your voicemail stating your full name.

Robo-dialer has called several times this morning.  No message left on voice mail.  Never heard of these clowns.
