Agent something called, and said I had gotten a loan in 2010. I never even got the loan. He stated I had to pay 795.00 to not go to jail/court over the matter. He was American, however got very nervous when I asked for the state he was in. He also said he usually only speaks to law enforcement and was making an exception. Had my last four of social etc. I had applied for a loan but never received it.

Oh man scams left to right. A phone call saying almost the same I recieved a loan and now it's being turned over to the fraud department in county. I should settle before I go to jail are these people [***] [***]. You don't go to jail for owning money. The sad part is some people do not know and they pay what's asked. Please please read these and do not pay them a dime!!! Scam artist at their finest. I will report this to everyone that will listen as well as the proper authorities so the naivë do not have to give them their hard earned money. Report them to the fraud department so they can go to jail and that's not a scam that's to be done.

I posted on the website of this first before contacting you. But it is disgusting how they get a paying citizen to give over their hard earned money. They called me with the same bs. I will call the proper authorities to have them arrested.

Got a phone call today Oct 14th, 2013  from a woman named "Cortney Wilcox" from MEDIATION SERVICES regarding my debt. which I don't know which one. her phone number is 612-326-4152 ext. 702 I knew this Is a SCAM.. So I will not call her back!! but this is annoying..!! She threaten to bring me to the court and at the end she said good Luck. If the CREDITOR filing a law suit against you.. they will send you a letter.. not thru the phone. Just DO NOT CALL THEM BACK !!

I just received the same call...they call everyday....i have no loan or debt,,my husband is a police officer, so he called these people back and they were nasty with him and wanted his superior officer's name and badge number....
He told them that if there is a debt that I owe then to send me a letter, that was over a month ago, still waiting for the letter!
They are a scam!!!!
I am not calling them back!

Who are these people and how did they get our phone numbers??? They were also calling me at work...

If they call you again, tell 'em in no uncertain terms that you know this is a scam and you have reported them.

Called from a 314 area code left a message to call a 612 area code when I called back gave a mailing address in Los Angeles CA.  SCAM

I got a call from Angela Graham on (612)326-4152 she told me I had opened a business credit card back in 2005 gave me an account number, first off I've never owned a business nor a business credit card, so i called bank of America where this supposed credit card came from and they could not find anything with the information she gave me... this smells like a scam to me!!!

I just got a message from this number as well.  Agent Graham.  Agent # 2463.  Looking for someone I've never heard of and said they put me as a reference and had my first name wrong!  What a bunch of morons.  Thanks for posting this so I know it is a scam and won't be calling back.   The scary part is that someone did use my debit card 2 weeks ago and I had to cancel it so this scared me!  I take care of my elderly parents and this kind of stuff scares me for them because they may take this seriously.  I need to talk to them about it now.

This is crazy. The exact same thing as Laura happened to my husband today. Agent Graham from the legal disposition fraud dept. Trying to sound so official. Thank u to all that have posted. It is definitely a scam. Might be time to pull a credit report and make sure everything is as it should be.

Actually this ppl are not no law ppl there are just ca collection agency they us this threaten words to get u to pay them. They have all ur info the call u saying oh u going to jail pay this but in reality is false yes its ur debt but they bump it up why so they can get was call a fee and they get that extract $$ they add to ur debt its a collection agency.

Nancy, please invest in some language tutoring before posting here again.  Also, can you check your CAPS-LOCK key and make sure it is not stuck in the ON position.
