another call from Minnesota, different number.  i will not answer calls from numbers I do not know from now on.

It's a scam !!!

call id'd itself by saying our insurance co, United Health Care had some questions, asked about medications, etc.

Please stop these calls.

This is the 2nd time they've called.  Left message on answering machine.  Asked for me by 1st + last name.  Said to push "1" if I was "1st name", and to push "3" if I was not.  Said to call them at number on back of my "member card (?)."  What member card?  Never said what company they were from.  I do not give out personal info. to anyone.  

getting calls on a regular daily basis saying they are doing medicare survey required by law

I keep getting calls from 612-326-7340 who identify themselves as AARP UnitedHealthcare and want me to participate in a  lawful (their term) Medicare required Survey.asking for information on medical History and Prescription Drugs used.
Medicare has no such lawful requirement.  
AARP UnitedHealthcare Insurance Company is responsible solely  for my Supplemental Healthcare Insurance, for which I pay, and has no role in my Healthcare except to pay any bills forwarded by Medicare for the percentage of fees not covered by Medicare. If AARP UnitedHealthcare Insurance Company has any questions about costs submitted to them then they should call the provider. I am very unhappy about AARP, a not-for-profit organization being allowed to become associated with the Insurance Industry and being allowed to have their name attached as part of  an Insurance Company name.  Also this Insurance Company imposes a requirement that to be covered by this  Insurance Company  I also have to become a member of the AARP.in which I have no interest. I have no objection to an Insurance Company soliciting AARP for their voluntary  endorsement but the AARP name should not be part of the Company name and AARP should not profit from it.
The NY State Insurance Commission  and the NY State Attorney General will be made aware of this situation and asked for their comments

When I call the number 612 326 7340 I am answered by AARP United Healthgare Insurance Company..
