Spam caller.  Spam calls automatically-do-not-ring:  On my cell phone, I've installed "Call Blocker Free - Blacklist" by NQ Mobile Security.  It is useful for non-business phones to only accept calls from phone numbers I want, incoming unwanted calls automatically do not ring  (rings on the spam caller end of the call, but not the recipient end and shows in the app instead of the phone call log).  I go to the app>Main screen>Funnel icon>Blocking mode> change it to:  "Accept ONLY FROM WHITELIST and CONTACTS".  Add the phone numbers you wish to receive calls from to your Contacts (keep your Contacts up-to-date as normal) and/or add non-contacts that you wish to receive a call from to the app Whitelist.  With my phone carrier service, I also turn voicemail OFF  so that it doesn't pickup a spam call after its set time to record.

UPDATE:  I'm liking "Call Blocker" by embware better for the same and additional capabilities.  It has the added aility to add a blocked non-spam number chosen from the blocked call log to the unblock-whitelist, with a name so I know the name associated with the phone number. And, it has the added ability to allow one-click-calling  a blocked call, when you're expecting a call.  If you want to download it from google play, it has a 'B' on a padlock icon.

Called and when answer, they hang up

Called and went to answering machine.  Left message that "you have been approved for a loan", left return number (same) and concluded with "have a blest day".

Got a call from this number.  It was a foreigner offering me a loan.  Told him I wasn't interested and hung up.  He called right back and I let it go to voice mail.  He was not talking about a loan on the voice mail he left.  He called me a B**** and said something about getting my p*****.  I should have taken my own advice and not answered it.

To everyone that will listen; the outfit that has this phone number is a SCAM, and not a mere "spam" call.....These JERKS are obviously attempting to gain your financial information in order to clean out your bank account!!!

We received a call from these CROOKS this morning and when I answered, no one responded. I then called them back and spoke to an Asian man with such poor English skills that I could barely understand him. When I told him that he had called earlier and that I wanted to know why, he asked me for my name so that he could pull up my "account". When I gave him my name and told him that I most certainly did NOT have an "account" with them he verified my address and said that he was calling me to inform me that my "online loan" had been approved. After I told him that I have NEVER, nor EVER will, seek an "online loan", and that if I were to EVER be contacted by his company again, that I would immediately contact my state Attorney General and HIS state Attorney General (Minnesota) to file a formal complaint against him, he oddly hung up, lol.

Received this call for Maisha - stating we need to you to get back to us. Thank you have a blessed day.  Big time scammer.

A woman called from this number left a voice mail said she was with speedy cash and left her phn number said I had been approved for a loan I did not call back.

If you have ever applied for any loan online this is where they are getting your information.  They are scammers.

They called me and wanted my banking information to approve a loan but wanted my username and password also. No company wants this if they are depositing money into your account. BEWARE ITS A SCAM!!!!

Yes these people are scammers
they said that they are from Speedy Cash and said that you are approved  for a loan for $1000.00 but you would have to go to Walmart  and give it back so that they will know that you can pay back the money.

I got that same message this morning

Caller was very rude and wanted to talk to an existing employee who I said was unavailable.  She wanted to confirm his email which I said I could not give out and could take a message.  She would not accept answer and kept calling about 20 times insisting I confirm his email.  Harassment BIG TIME!  DO NOT give out information!
