Called today; left no message.  Caller ID says "QVD."

Called.  I answered. Nobody there... I hung up.

Dumb woman asked for me by name on my answering machine.

woman claiming to be with Breast Cancer awareness wanting donation. Wanted to take credit card information over the phone. Told her to send pledge card so I could look it over.

Caller ID "QVD" they hung up.

CallerID says "BCFA". No message left.

First time I got a call from this number.  Caller ID said QVD.  My answering machine was on but they left no message.  One of the other posters said it was from Breast Cancer charity.  Another poster said their Caller ID said BCFA.  Might mean Breast Cancer ... ....  Area code 612 is Central Minnesota, specifically the Minneapolis area.

This is a spoofed phone number.  Area code 612 is indeed a Minneapolis area code, but there is no such exchange number 800 within the 612 area code.

Why don't these [***] go bother rich people instead of targeting the middle class all the damn time. We don't give personal information on the phone and the woman on the phone said she was with some breast cancer thing. Seriously it's not even charitable when you're asking for someones credit and or debit card information over the phone and these [***] called my house before as well and I told them never to call again before.

They called and left no message.  Caller ID = BCFA .  I called the number and got the customer service line for Breast Cancer Financial Assistance fund.

Caller ID says BCFA. Left no message. When I attempt to call this number, nothing happens, no ring tone, nothing, dead air.

Caller ID:  "BCFA"  Message:  "Just so you know" pause a few seconds, then click.   My old answering machine did not register caller, so was kind of scared for a while. Took a few days before I found out source of call, unrecognizable voice. My # unlisted, have had it for years!!

ID said BCFA.  They hung up when the answering machine kicked in.  My research shows this to be a fraudulent "charity" that is being investigated.  Pffffft - like that will keep them from calling people!
