this is a faked number from canadian bonded credit in T.O. attempting to appear local to ottawa

Got a call from this number a few hours after a blocked long distance number tried as well. The long distance number was for some name I'd never heard before, but the local 613 number was for me. No message was left, and it would be really great if these companies didn't hide who they are. Anyone have any ideas who this company is!?

This number called my unlisted house number and my son answered.  Someone screamed at him in a foreign language and then said "have your dad call me back".  I can and get "not in service".

This number has called twice and said nothing when it is picked-up.

no one on line, called back got Bell's "The number you called is not in service"

My answering maching picked up, and the message was (in the Bell Canada lady's voice) "...please hang up and try your call again..." and on and on it went. I wasn't near my phone... It was odd. I called it back and it's apparently not in service.

Maybe it's  Bell Canada operators having fun...

Answered call, was told it was the office of Dalton McGuinty and was ask if he would have my support.  (nope)

This number has called many times.  I didn't pick it up and they left no message.  When I called back, I got a "this number is not in service"

Called several times so far today (a Sunday). I don't pick up and they don't leave a message. Very annoying. Usually Dalton McGuinty's people come up as Dalton McGuinty's office so if this is them, they've changed their tactics. Mind you, if people are like me, they just hang up on McGuinty. ;-)

Caller was asking if our household would like to participate in a television survey.  If so in a couple weeks we would receive the questionnaire.

I've been receiving calls from this number for at least 4 months...I don't pick up if I don't recognize the number...when I called the number, the Bell message is "Number not in service"...it's driving me crazy...

Oddly enough this number showed up on my cell phone and I answered it.  It turned out that it was my friend calling from Jamaica... hmmmm.

Missed call.  Have received more than once.  Never leaves a message and don't know who it is.

i actually missed this, but it sounds very similar to your calls, i missed a restricted call at 7pm-ish and then this number called twice two hours later, do any of you have any links to the chinese embassy, or china...??? thinking it might be them... the embassy has been known to harass human rights workers...

Had a call first from a long distance "unknown name" which I didn't answer and right after that, a call from 613-232-7437. I answered this time, dead air at the other end. Bad enough to get calls like this, but at 7:20 a.m on a Saturday morning!

i got the same thing ... the 613 number first then all these international calls from sweden and the netherlands frig the international calls are very frequent

Received call at lunch time offering higher credit limits. Caller ID: unknown.
