Have received multiples calls from this number.  No answer and no sound on the line; very likely an autodial machine for a telemarketer.

I have received multiple calls and when I pick up they just hang up. I would like it to stop.

Same for me ... it was the Ottawa Firefighters Association giving info about their community charitable events

I received a call from this number yesterday and when I answered, there was nobody there...

I keep on getting these calls... every day.  I've been hanging up but there seems to be no way to screen them out.  I contacted Bell Canada which used to take complaints about harassing phone calls and they were not helpful at all.

Given the mention of the Ottawa Firefighters Association, I tried calling them to see if they were responsible but I only got a machine!  I left a message indicating that I no longer want to receive these calls but I have no way of knowing who is making them... very frustrating.

Received text message and was charged $9.99 to my cell phone account

No one there. Several calls a day. I called the phone number back, and the message said to call their customer support center at 1-800-379-2116.

I called 1-800-379-2116, and the message says to "Press 9" to add the phone number you are calling from to their "Do Not Call" list. (Your number must not have Call Blocking on it, or they can't pick up the number from Caller ID.

N.B., AFAIK, 613-482 is a block of Vonage phone numbers.

We are in the same boat.  Keep getting calls from this number and the caller doesn't say a word.  We tried calling the number back and someone answers but doesn't say a word.  Enough is enough already!  Surely this number can be traced to its user and a warning and/or penalty instilled.....

It's the Ottawa Firefighters A** calling. They will not leave us alone and we keep removing  our number from the list and they keep coming back. I am fed up and wish they would stop. We get several calls a day. How do they expect me to buy something from them when they are harrasing us!!!!
