Like Ashley, I keep on getting calls from this number and no message is ever left.

I received the call from this number.

No message and when I called back from a landline I couldn't understand the greeting

They've called me multiple times this week. No voicemail left. If they're legit, they'd leave a voicemail... right?

They call my cell number almost daily for 2 weeks.  Sometimes twice a day never leave a voicemail

just called the number and listened to the message... it is a fundraising company that lists companies like Canadian Diabetes Association, World Wildlife Fund and many other charities were listed that I can't recall.... it mentioned a do not call list and a toll-free number as well as an email address pertaining to be taken off call list.... call the number and list to the information.... I dont have a pen to write i down atm.

That was good info, Cally. I got a call from them today. I'm wondering how my number got in there. It doesn't sound legit to me.

Keep getting calls from this number and when I call back the call always fails! Really confused as to what's going on.  

I wasn't home, but got a call from this number today, which husband answered. Claimed to be from the Liberal Party of Canada and would not leave a message, saying they would call back. Turns out this company is soliciting donations on behalf of the LPC. I am not a Liberal member. I signed a petition of theirs around 2 years ago. I don't think that qualifies me as being someone they can, or should, solicit donations from. Pathetic.

Yes, the Liberal Party of Canada also solicited me for donations from this number. He spoke about a good cause, but was too pushy about setting up a monthly donation.

I think I have got several calls from this number, the most recent just a few minutes ago.  Did not answer as I choose not to pick up if it is a suspected long distance call from a number that I don't know.  I see the number is associated with the Canadian Diabetes Association, World Wildlife Fund, Liberal Party of Canada.  Odd they should all use this number.

I keep getting calls from this number. How can one stop this?

By signing a petition sponsored by a political party, you have allowed that party to reach you afterwards. However, I would be surprised that the LPC would pay a company to ask for donations when they have an army of volunteers doing it for free.

I just received a call from the same number. I tried calling back but always busy. I think it is robot calls from a call center.

It is from a company named Fund Raising Direct (http://www.fundraisingdirect.ca/). I called this number and there is a recording with a phone number you can call back to be taken off the call list.(As mentioned above) It is 1 877 593 3315 (as of July 2014)

It's very likely a fraud trying to smear LPC and scam money out if people...

I am an LPC member and I know for a fact they don't solicit donations forcefully, nor over the phone, they refer people to either donate through the party website or call them directly...

Yes, but only if (when signing said petition) you enter your contact info and which communication medium you'd prefer to be reached at (email, regular mail, or phone)...

The calls from this number seem more and more like fraud to me...
