Wow! I got the same text in email...Why is her "Chicago" address an Ottawa area code??? "Cereprotec" has a website...but the grammar and "scientific sources" are fishy...
All correspondence was directed from aweber.com on behalf of EspoirBridge Recruiters, NY--posting ads for "research associates" in every town from coast to coast..Look closely, the ads have numerous spelling and grammar mistakes...and WHY do they include legal text about spam at the bottom???
HMMM...

I did  write a few emails to info@cereprotec.com, as well as to s.stewart@cereprotec.com with different inquiries regarding the company and this after i received the same urgent email that everybody else recieved and believe it or not i never got any answer( what a surprise). I think we should report this as a fraud, we all gave a lot of personal information to who knows...

I sent my resume to them as well after applying for a position.  When I called and spoke with Sandra, she didn't seem to know too much about the positions?????

I too heard from these people. I eventually did get in contact with Sandra Stewart. She sounded surprisingly clued-out. When I asked her detailed and relevant questions about the position and company she responded as though she had no idea what she was saying.. kept repeating the same meaningless words over and over again. Sandra told me that I needed certification (from Kriger for example). These people have also been horrendously difficult to get in contact with. They too seem fishy. I also noticed that if one registers with another recruitment agency Biorole... the webpage will automatically divert to espoirbridge.

you can find some articles here( http://www.ibpassociation.org/ibpa_unpublished_articles.htm)  but as you will see they are not published ......

Thanks for the link. Ah, of course they're not published..

I thought I read something on a forum by a guy who said he reported it to the Better Business Bureau, or something, but he said he recieved no follow up on the matter. Maybe it's a matter for the RCMP....

Contact you local PD or Federal Bureau of Investigation, or in Canada, the RCMP. What I think is happening here is as follows: EspoirBridge (and maybe others) advertise high paying clinical research associate jobs for companies such as Cereprotec, Pharmalef Developments (and maybe others). These companies have been advertising jobs since last year. When you apply to these jobs, EspoirBridge gets you excited first advertising "no experience needed" and "entry level", but then they back track and tell you need the KRIGER CRA course. And that's how they make their money.

Why do they do it? imagine, if only 300-400 people apply for the job posting (but these jobs are advertised world-wide, so many more will), and let's say only 50% take the course, that's over $200,000 profit. Do this a couple times a year, and you're a millionaire.

THIS IS DEFINATELY SOUNDS LIKE A FRAUD.

better yet, contact a fraud attorney and initiate a class action lawsuit.

Hello,
I am also sailing in the same boat. espoirbridge channeled me to kriger & i'm about to finish the course. So called Cereprotec(does it really exist)is also in the loop. I got the urgent mail from Sandra stating that they are moving forward in their clinical trial as it was approved recently. I feel stranded now after spending so much money for the course.
Please advice how to move further. Thanks.

Pinky, please go ahead and apply. But I bet you that they will tell you need a course from Kriger and they will tell you that you won't be able to find a job unless you do take that course. Apply to them, but do not take the course. Report back if they provide you with a job.

I was actively looking for a CRA position last year, however I switched focus and now do consulting work.

The best you can do is volunteer some time with an area hospital clinical research program or department. Network, and go from there.
