Have just started receiving these calls this week  -- they call at least twice a day.  As I do not know anyone in Ontario, I have not picked up the phone, but they never leave a message.

caller has called numerous times, I'm just sick of it how can we stopp the calls. I don't answer call from out of state or tol free calls

Calls my cell phone but never leaves a message.

I just returned from vacation and noticed this number on caller ID multiple times.  I think some days it was 3 -4 times.  I looked up the number and found these notes.  I was going to call it back but then researched it first, good thing.  I know now not to bother with it.  Thanks!

Got a call just now - Caller ID said ONTARIO Caller, since I have a friend living in that area, I picked up, live in the US myself - The caller (a female) said they would not sell anything, just wanted to ask some things. Then asked if there were any males between the age of 18-65 in my household, I said yes, if they could speak to that person. I told them he was not home. Then asked me if there was a female in our household between the ages of 18-65. I said yes, that would be me. And then she said, "well we'll have to call back another time"....weird. Did not call back, but looked up online what this was all about. I am on the Do Not Call List, so I don't understand why I would get a call from them.

This number called and they asked for a video research survey and when asked for my name they could not spell it no matter what I said...

I recieved a call today from this lady. She asked if an "adult" was in the house. Being 19, I could have said yes, but i said no. She was like, "do you know when they will be available?" "nope!" "ok thank you".. and that was the end of it. almost called it back but decided to google it. Thank goodness I did, but it makes me really mad, because Ive had my house phone number and all the cell phones in the house on the do not call list. This should include international calls to not call me! Ugh, makes me very annoyed! Not sure if they were selling anything, usually those people ask if im over 18. :-|

I didn't answer.  looked it up on the computer first.

I wrote to them and explained that I would start a public opinion inquiry of my own on repetitive, unsolicited, marketing calls from firms like IPSOS.  I also mentioned that Dateline NBC would be interested in this type of annoying call and the information that they are selling as soon as they validate your phone number.   I got a call back from a senior VP in less than 30 minutes with an apology and a promise that I would be added to their 'do not call list' immediately.

I answered and lied about my age and they are going to send me a dvd to watch on Aug 21. They will then call me on Aug 22 and ask me stuff about it. I had to tell them that i was between 25 and 49. I said 27, i am 57. I also asked them if i could watch it before the 21st and they said it had to be the 21st. I think i will watch it sooner anyway.
They also said that i would be in a drawing to possibly win $100 in cash or prizes, yippeee.

I received several calls, no messages. Finally decided to answer. I was told that they were a researh/marketing group doing a survey on some new shows soon to air on TV. The first question they asked was my age. When I said 50, they said, "good." Then they proceeded to ask me if I had any of the following health problems during the past year, allergies, asthma, GERD, etc., etc. I stopped them dead in their tracks before they could finish the list & told them the call was terminated immediately & I hung up. This had nothing to do with TV shows. The questions asked were personal, which had nothing to do about my TV viewing preferences. Is there not some agency they can be reported to. There is no telling what sort of scam they are up to.

Same s**t happen to me ... 2 or 3 times within an hour, even at 11:00 PM, AND on more than one day ... any suggestions on how to stop this ... like maybe a way to COST them some major $$$$$ for their arrogant rudeness ... and on top of everything else they've reached by business CELL phone.

I answered this call and was told it was a marketing call about TV shows. I interrupted the spiel and asked what the company name was, and their 800 phone number.  He paused and said he could put me on the do not call list by verifying my phone number.  He read my phone number back and I said, "right, now what is your company's 800 phone number?" and he hung up on me.  He had told me the name of the company was Audience Studies.
Now, if I get another call, I will call Jim Smith .  Thanks Mike!

I also am on the Do not Call list and have filed a complaint with DNC. Obviously our Gov is letting this loophole exist as long as the company claims to be doing Surveys.
