donotcallme - 4 Feb 2008This number calls our home every day...and has for about 2 months. We live in Ontario. I decided today to finally answer, the line is 'dead' and then it goes into a beep. When I call back, it is a fast busy signal. Not sure what it's about. They call every day almost around dinner time.

nc - 5 Feb 2008I just got a call from this number and did a Google search. Another site mentions the Canadian Diabetes Association informing that they will be in the area for donations. I remember this happening last year, and the "688" part matches the exchange on their contact numbers (according to the website.)

Val - 6 Feb 2008We've been getting daily calls from both these numbers ( 613-688-4851 & 416-924-0280) We have informed the police and apparently they are working on this situation now. Anyhow, these numbers are scams and the people behind these are certainly looking to prey on the old and innocent. Be careful and don't ever give out any information over the phone. The 416# usually calls and requests personal information.
