A caller from this number left a message on my answering machine saying he was "Officer Eric Foster" and that I or my attorney needed to call him immediately. He spoke broken English and used stilted grammatical sentence structure.

See what happens when 'Officer Eric Foster' can't leave a message. His phone is all he can threaten. Drive him off with a number that has no kind of answer.

Very hard to understand but he said if I don't call back or have my attorney call I will be arrested

Scam call plus they are useing a spoof number  do not fall for this scam. Report them to the police and the news paper and warn others about these scams.

Scam called into this over a year ago for my husband and are calling for me!!! Same Broken English same officer  same  return number given. ...twice in two days. . I'm  wondering should I call Kingston police since it's a Kingston number

Scam call saying they represent the CRA...the CRA WILL ONLY CONTACT YOU VIA REGISTERED MAIL. ....

"Agent" James Morrison Called here... left a very important message but the accent was so bad we could not understand much of it including what he was going to do if we did not contact him. The return phone number was clear.   Did not appear to have anything about the subject matter in the call or who or what agency which which he was an "Agent".

It seemed like it might be a recorded message as the voice mail seemed to have picked it up after the first sentence of the message started.

Obviously a scam, and the number is not a local phone number to the Ottawa part of the 613 area code.

I got the same call today. Threatens litigation if I ignore the call.

- just got a call from 613-689-9693. broken English they said they were from the CRA and  said that either me or my lawyer needs to return the call or good luck to us

- I got the call and so did my mom and dad, three separate messages left all exactly the same from 'Officer Eric Foster', 613-689-9693

I received message this AM from "Eric Foster". It was a robo-call announcement from "CRA" with threat of legal action,

I got thru on call call this afternoon and "Paul Dawson" answered the call (funny how all these guys from Pakistan have english family names!).
I advised I was recording the call and asked him to provide CRA account number - he would not. Also asked for his office address in Ottawa. I can usually trip up these fraudsters easily as I know Ottawa fairly well. He would not provide address location for his "Ottawa" office location.
He told me that he was sending the OPP and they would arrive in 45 mins to arrest me for tax fraud and hung up.
Good grief, do these hucksters really think people in Canada are that gullible?
This is just another round of clowns in a boiler room operation in Pakistan trying to steal identities, information, and money.
Advise to others, either do not answer call from this number, or spend some time on phone with them to waste some of their time so that they leave other people alone.

Same thing.  Got home, found a message on my answering machine.  Half cut off, because the robo-machine didn't know to wait till the beep.  Threatening me with litigation if I don't call 613-554-9959.

You got a call from Jim Morrison, I knew he faked his death!  He must be living in Pakistan now....

Same as everyone else, except mine was from Mark.  Officer Mark Foster, who has a lot of trouble in English.  Specifically, he said if me or my attorney did not call him back immediately, "it would be The Bad for me".  Was hilarious, am going to use that with my kids.  "If you don't finish your homework, it will be The Bad for you".

I might get the same lady left a threat message from this number. I so not know this type of person at all. I am not 911, I can do nothing for her, and her tone is very bad, i knew away this was one of those bad people.

my elderly mother received a voice mail when she was having lunch at her new retirement residences.
Same crap.
My mother is to smart for these scammers.

Got a call from that number, and razzled my father! If I catch them, boy, oh, boy!!!

Same message from Eric Foster at 613-689-9693 left on my voice mail January 7. Obviously a scam.
