Don't know who it was.

Said they were from Labour Canada asked for "name".Phoned number and got test message for mailbox.

Called at 5:30, i didn't pick up and they didn't leave a message.
This is the third time in 4 days.

Recieved call. Answered after 2 rings. Dead air.

called at 3:50pm on 3/28.  Not answered, no message left

It's the Liberal Party of Canada - Membership / Fundraising Campaign.

Jerks called. I said hello 5-6 times. Nothing. I could hear them breathing/swallowing in the ground, which made me especially angry.

Received a call two weeks ago  from this number and said it was not a good time - I noted the number.  They keep calling back.  I recognize the number and do not answer.  They do not leave a message.
What a nuisance!!

I had the same experience as Antonio, I said hello several times, by the time the person responded I was annoyed and hung up.

If it is the Liberal Party or fund-raisers for them then it would be better if their caller identity was not hidden.

I do not answer calls with no caller ID. If anyone don't want me to know who they are up-front then they will not be talking to me. It should be illegal for companies/organizations to have undisclosed caller ID.

Called July 8, 2008 @ 4:26PM, didn't leave a message, that's annoying, if they call back again I'll tell them to take me off their calling list, and not to call me at work asking for money while distracting me from making money, if you want money go work hard and make some, don't ask hard working people for it, should be a law against that.

They keep trying to call me.  The times I have answered is just dead air and noisy background.  Bastards!

It's dead air because it's automated, once it connects and you say hi, it takes a few seconds to connect to a real person, so you have to say hi a few times.  

I answered, and they asked for a name I never heard before. Just told them wrong number and they hung up.  That's how you can make them stop calling, just say it's the wrong number, regardless.

I blow a whistle in the phone or if it is dead air but I know there is someone there I cuss them out. There have been times when I say hello about 4-5 times and they answer I hang up on them or I have just sit there on the phone and let them be the ones saying hello to no one.You can also just hit the pound key so it sounds like a fax machine.

called my cell at 1:10p (pst).  been getting calls frequently from this number, but never leaves a msg.
