Debbie - 10 Nov 2007I have gotten the same call with no one on the other end. They call 3 or 4 times a day. I came on line yesterday and seen in someone's post it was Columbia House. I emailed them a nasty email at cv_customer_service@columbiahousecanada.com - this morning and recieved the following...
"Please accept our apology for the inconvenience.
Please be informed that we have added your phone number "?&*%$$@?" to our do not call list.
Hope this helps everyone out...

Laura - 3 Jan 2008THANK YOU for the phone number and email addy info. They've been DRIVING ME FREAKIN' CRAZY for months. I've tried emailing them, and got the same response saying they'd remove me, but obviously that never happened. So I called the 1-800 number just now and yelled at the poor woman who answered the phone. She assures me I've been removed.

Frustrated home phone owner - 31 Jan 2008Thank you so much for doing the work for us to get to the bottom of these prank calls- I as well called and they took me off their calling list, it was just really frustrating that when I called the 613-932-3493 # back, it was a busy tone continually, and I wasn't about to give up- I really felt the need to yell at somebody, and am glad I called the 1-800 #.

chris - 1 May 2008THE NAME HAS CHANGED TO SOMETHING ROCK ,BUT THEY ARE STILL AN "OUTBOUND CALL" CENTER. AND THEY WILL STILL REMOVE YOUR # FROM THEIR DATABASE. NICE LADY TOO.

Jackie - 2 May 2008Thanks I phoned and they took my numbers of the list. A couple of weeks ago they call me on my 800 number and racked up my bill. I didn't realized they used that number until my phone bill came in.

annoyed - 4 Jul 2008I also called the 1-800-668-0077 and asked to be removed . Hope this works! The receptionist announced "hello beauty rock" so i googled that and found they are a call centre. www.beautyrock.com. I wonder if they would like it if we emailed or called them over and over and over.........

JNICH - 27 Aug 2008I've been receiving calls from 6139323493 for weeks but there was never an answer. So I googled it and I found this thread. I called the 800 number and they answered beauty rock. I found it to be very unprofessional as they asked me to hold while they grabbed a piece of paper. That was it, too simple. It could take up to 30 days before it's been officially removed. Thanks for the number!!! I hope it works. Time will only tell!
