On caller ID it shows "Westerville, OH"  614-212-7554.  I did some research and found out it belongs to World Financial Network.....

I received a call from this number and some lady with a nasal problem was looking for my mother. She then proceeded to tell me that my mom needs to call her back (did not mention her name or the company she represents) by 6p.m. the next day or she will personally forward my mom's records to attorneys. When I asked her what company she was calling from, she proceeded to say once she speaks to my mom regarding the urgent matter, she will reveal everything. Hmmmm.

This is a very ugly and rude bill collector service using the name world financial. That is NOT the way to get money from people..

Frequent calls from World Financial Network by an "Agent McCleary" saying call back or else.  Lots of official sounding tough talk about attorneys, "I will be forced to so something that you won't like, etc.

Kept calling and wont tell me who they are representing. I tell them stop calling me and then start with the pay your bills or I'll have to get an attorney. I said good you get one and then your lawyer can talk to my lawyer. I called them back to give them my attorney's information and they put me on hold for a long time. I was then transfered to my "account rep" that want my social security number. I refused that info and he is like lady I can play these games to. Needless to say I was not polite and he hung up.

They are simply a collection agency. They may not be affiliated directly with wfnnb but the fact that they are using the name when you dial that number indicates they have been given the autority to use it. Report them to the FCC. They can track down the true owner of that number. They likely purchased your debt and or collect a fee for getting the money for fn.

These people are bottom of the barrel, low class, boiler room debt collectors! Make no mistake about it. No reputable company would use these tactics to collect money.

This company repeatedly calls my son's cell number and he is 17. He just got the number about a month ago. The company keeps calling and looking for "Travis". When I inform them we don't know any "Travis" and that perhaps they made a mistake in dialing or that who they are looking for had this number PREVIOUSLY (before my minor son) they just continue to argue with both my son and I. I have told them numerous times to STOP calling us and low and behold we get more calls. They also refused to put a supervisor on the line and when they finally did she was very rude! She continued to argue with me and asked me if I was sure I had my son's number right and when I assured I did and didn't back down with her she told me, "I hope you have a better day!" and then she hung up on me!
WTF? Stupid people shouldn't breed!

They are from wfnnb who is the bank behind the Victoria's Secret or GAP credit card.
If you have a debit on one of this two credit cards that's why you are receiving their call.

I get calls from this phone number 614-212-7554 at least three times a day. Always some guy who acts like we are old friends or something and then the threats start. I here the same thing about getting a lawyer and being forced to do things I won't like. He never gives his name or tells me where he is from. I agree this is not the way to get people to pay their bills.

I get several calls a day and when I offered to pay the original bill without all the collection fees they up their calling to once every hour. This style of collection attempts makes me even more stubborn to pay them. I can play the game too.

I just received a call from this number but when I answered they didn't say anything. So I decided to google the area code and stumbled across this site. Thanks for the heads up! I love the phone bully's good thang I can hang with them!

They call several times a day. I have no bills or connection to them whatsoever. I finally got curious and answered their call. Said "helllo' several times. No response. Finally they answered and asked for a name that didn't live at my place. I told them that and they asked for the person again. I said I didn't know anyone by that name and they didn't live there and the person said, rudely, "I didn't ask you that, I asked for ______" I told them they were rude and they said they'd call back later. I said, "Oh, no you won't!" They said, "Oh, yes we will!" and hung up! RUDE!

They've continued to call several times a day. I leave the answering machine on, and, of course, no messages are left. I've picked up the phone a few times when they've called and no one speaks! What is their game!?!!?!?! They can call as much as they want . . . I now just pick up the phone and hang it up.

I screen all my calls and never pick up if it's a name I don't recognize. WFNNB has been calling 10 or 20 times a day for several months and they never leave a message. I see from the web that they are bill collectors, and since I have no outstanding debts, they are looking for someone else. I guess there's no way to prevent the phone from ringing all day and night....

They have called me 1-3 times and I of course acted coy with the person who clarifys himself as Agent "Mcleary". Asking for a lady who I did not know. I playing around said she was dead and messed around and this person got very rude and mad, repeatedly talking vulgar, so I asked and they say their from Ohio, of course I went on this site and read the comments to the agent and he did not comment and said did I know the lady from earlier, of course I said I didn't and he said have a nice day.

I have also been getting calls, all time of the day and night. I do not owe them and have tried to explain without much success. I have had the same number for years. Now this? I have quit taking this call. I just check the caller id and if it is 614 area code, i just don't take it. I do not know anyone in Ohio.

These are really scary people, they've threatened me to take me to court and im just a college student struggling my way through school pretty much one step away from being homeless. I already told them im filing for bankruptcy and they said they wanted the case number and wont stop calling!!

Since this number calls me all day (even on a Saturday) starting at exactly 8:15am for the past month, I decided to fight back by calling them throughout and hanging up so they can see how that crap feels.  I don't owe anyone.  The one time someone actually responded after reported "hello's...whose there", I told him he had the wrong number.  He told me I was lying that he just talked to me five minutes ago.  Sooo, I confused the hell out of him when I responded I was dead five minutes ago and I just got revived by the paramedics.  He didnt know what to say and hung up.  Ahhhh...the joy of f'ing with stupid bill collectors.

I owe 200 and some change on an account... I know I owe this money and I plan to pay it. I am laid off at this time and plan to pay with my taxes. They call ATLEAST once a day and that is fine, I know they have a job to do. We discuss my "options" everyday and it is always the same coversation... And then tonight some crazy wants to call and make threats... then hang up on me. NUT JOBS!!!!!
