I have had two calls from this number in the past 30 minutes. The first was an Asian sounding individual who wanted to check on my computer. I told him nothing was wrong and hung up. Then about 20 minutes later as I was fixing to put the number into the phone to block it, they called again. This time I said if you were the person who previously called there is nothing wrong with my computer. I believe the number is being spoofed because caller id came up as OSU (Ohio State University) Wexner Medical Center. I checked all their numbers on google and the only parts that was identical were the area code and the first digits. I found none that matched. I have since blocked the number on both my landline and cell phones.

Who at a medical center in Ohio would be concerned about my computer of which there is nothing wrong with it? It looks like they are at it again.

3 times in one hour.  My windows computer is fine.  I asked them which computer and they jabbered off some number.  I asked for the MAC address of it and they stated that they are not supposed to give that out.  I know my computers are fine, I just wanted to see what they would say.  I was going to block them later today, but after 3 times, I blocked them.

I've had the exact same phone calls today - and they are driving me a little nuts.  I've asked them to stop but they don't seem to listen.  It's a business line so we don't block calls.  So far 3 times today - lets see if he calls again.

This appears to be yet another wannabe tech support operation desperate to be my friend. So far this alleged number has attempted to call here three times. But each time their calls were automatically blocked. This same thing happened last night with an alleged 201-991-8258 number and those calls were blocked as well. I suspect that this is the same overseas operation displaying another number since they were unsuccessful the first time around. If they repeat the same pattern, then there should be at least two more calls after this.

Operations like this have a history of using caller id spoofing. In the past they used it to display out of service numbers, however it has become more common for them to display numbers that belong to innocent third parties. This would seem to be one of those situations.

Received three calls so far today on my business line.  Nothing wrong here and they could not tell me the name of my company.  SCAM!

They have been calling me all day 3/29/16. I stated I am on the DO NOT CALL list they hang up then call again hours later.

Indian accent lady says she's calling regarding my computer, I assure her, There's no computer in my home, I hang up.
All day just about every 15 minutes they called my phone. I finally answer again and a man tells me if I want to talk to my daughter, He will call at midnight. This is getting extremely frustrating. I pay for a phone so that I can be harassed!

I received 2 calls from 614-293-0225. The caller indicated he was from the Windows IT security department and that my computer had been hacked and he would block me from access to their server until the problem was resolved. He requested on-line access to my computer. I asked him where he was located and he said the Windows team in California. I said I don't believe you. He indicated they were sending cyber security engineers to my house to help resolve the issue. I said I still don't believe you and he hung up.

I received a second call an hour later with the same story. I told him the problem had been fixed and thanked him for their help in solving it. No calls since. (I never had a problem in the first place but this response seems to have stopped the calls)

Some dude calling from the "Technical Department of Windows" calling just now.  He actually responded to me when asked if he was proud of himself for choosing to defraud people. He said, and I quote, "Already today, 13, 14 people fall for it." He SAID that.

Same as above..  Phone displays some Med Center and someone wants to fix my PC running windows, These people are East Indian who say they are from Microsoft so they can get into your computer and either steal information or load Malware software to solve the problem but the software is laced with more malware.  Microsoft never call anyone, but if you go to their help page and require Assistance via their Chat room, they will help you out with a minor problem or for a price fix a major problem. When done they will issue you a SRX Incident ticket to use if the problem crops up again. the number has SRX..  followed by 10 numbers and then ID  If you get called ask these scammers to provide you with the SRX ticket number and they will hang up and hopefully not call you back.  There are also new land line phone systems by Panasonic that allow you to block up to 250 callers. Once  blocked, if they call you back the phone rings once and then stops

asked about a computer service, asked not to recall, they did within the hour. Scammers for sure.

I've received 7 phone calls from this phone number on caller ID shows Oh St Wex Med Center as OSU Medical Center has a 293 exchanged, they are spoofing their calls their this exchange.  A foreign male states that he needs to get into my computer (yea right).  I hung up and they call back every 30 minutes and 2 times the following day.  I finally advised him I'm with the Police Department and he said "OOOhhh, I'm scared."  They're idiots!!!   I plan to send this to the State Attorney General's office to be added to the scam list of numbers.   Next is the whistle in the phone sound for my foreign caller as I don't want my line tied up with this nonsense.

I get three calls per day from this number, professing to be Windows support and asking me to access my computer... and we don't even own a single Windows machine or product: all Macs.

These people call 3 or 4 times a day.  When I answer they say they are calling about my computer. I told them I do not have a computer and they keep calling.  At first I could not understand them and the guy got belligerent and kept muttering like a crazy person.  The others have been women and all are Asians. I don't have time to waste on these people plus it is annoying

I keep getting calls from the tel. # above.Stating there is something wrong with my computer.

Caller ID says OSU WEX MED Center.
