This was a call back regarding services I enquired about at the OSU Medical Center.

I had a call at 730am today.  I've never had any dealings with OSU Medical Center so not sure what it is.

Received call at 11:37am today. Did not take it and the caller did not leave a message. I, too, have never had dealings with the OSU Medical Center.

Yes, you should pick this up... it is most likely due to a doctor's appointment that you have with a physcian, who is part of the OSU medical system.  It is a general number that shows up as caller ID.  Why would you be scared to answer this number?  It is not a debt collector, fundraiser, etc.

Got a call today on my cell phone from this number. Turns out they miss-dialed. No harm done and the lady was very nice about it.

My cousin works for osu with patients is not a bill collector and when she calls it shows up like that

getting a fax call to my cell phone, very annoying when it beeps in my ear.

Called me this afternoon and politely said, I have the wrong number and hung up.  Then called me back twice more and hung up when I answered.

Called at 400 AM. Did not hear it ring. Did not leave a message and have never gone/dealt with anyone at OSU.

this is OSU med center...calling me to remind me about an upcoming dr appt.

I got 3 calls from this number a 1:50 a.m.  Caller asked for Aaron all 3 times. Caller sounded pretty much out of it.

This is the phone number of the main switch at the OSU Medical Center.  Every call from the Hospital will show this number on your caller ID.  Doctors, paitent rooms, nurses stations and even fax machines.  If you have no dealing with OSU, it is most likely a wrong number.

If you have applied for a job at OSU this is also the number that will show up - again its not a bill collector.

I got the call while I was at work so i couldn't answer it. I don't have anything with OSU but I have been taking my daughter to Childrens Hospital to see some specialists there. So I'm not sure if that's who it was from?? They did not leave a message.

I called the number back and it was a recording-- saying the same thing as the people above (OSU general caller ID number for all phones) it was unable to tell me who called specifically.

I absolutely hate when people don't leave messages!

This is the Caller Identification Number for all phone calls originating at The Ohio State University Medical Center.

Unless a message is left, there is no way of tracing these phone calls. It gives a number to call if you have any more questions.

The operators at the Main Hospital Switchboard explain quickly that there is no way to trace any outbound phone calls and that the caller ID number identifies over 10,000 phones.

This number also identifies all primary care network, outpatient centers, and all inpatient rooms within the Ohio State University Health System.

The operator also advised that, if the call is important, a message will always be left. If there is no message left, the best thing to do is wait for a call back. If you do not receive a call back, it would be safe to assume it is a wrong number. It is possible that patients who may be medicated could possibly be dialing the wrong number.

Call it is a general number. This is also the number that shows up when a patient there is calling.

This is the general number for The Ohio State University Med Center--I work for the Med Center so I would know :) Any and all calls coming from the center go through this number, if it is important--a message will be left, if it isn't then it won't be. No worries on it :)

Agreed, it is most likely a call related to some medical interaction with Ohio State University Medical Services.  Since patients call make outbound calls, those calls will also fortunately or unfortunately have that Called ID.
