Automated caller saying there were papers in their office to serve me.

In my history, when a party has already attained papers through the court to serve you, LAST thing they do is warn you.

I just got the same call. They left a voicemail. Very shady you have to serve ppl in person last I checked. I don't have any debts so it must be a scam.

I just got this same call but it had a case number. Did anyone else have a number assigned. When I did a search on the number it looks like a debt company??

Phone call isn't legal notice of anything.  Ignore and block the calls.  Most likely a debt scam of some sort.

I get the call every single day about they have a fax order regarding a complaint that was filed against me to serve me at my residence or employer.  Same message the rest of you are getting it sounds like.  It has to be a scam - if they really have papers they would have my address and they would be served.  Plus since they never identify who they are it is a sure sign of a fraud.

Typical boiler room scam with calls going out claiming to have legal documentation presented to their office regarding a complaint or case against you.  In the message you will be warned about serving you papers at either your home or place of employment.  You will be given a case file to reference when calling back.

The people on the other end of the line are bottom-feeding, soul sucking jack wagons that have no business contacting anyone about a debt. (Real or fake) What they are doing is illegal.

Totally a scam. Block that number!!

Did not leave voicemail. Googled it here and found the same crap as usual. Scam scam scam. I have found that after ignoring and blocking calls from numbers like these over the last 3 years they have become less, thankfully.

Same call.  Said I was going to be served at my home or business unless I call them back and reference this #___.  I'm no legal expert, but if I had papers to serve someone, I certainly wouldn't warn them.  This is such a scam!

SAME SCAM... DIFFERENT NUMBER.. I answered  the call and didn't say anything.. just pressed  the ##### sign until they hung up.. they called back.. did the same.. haven't heard back in a day..

Got this call a week ago.  L/M.  It's a scam.

Every day for over a year... same as you all stated above!  I can't block, they call from a different number!!

I got a phone call from an unknown debt collection agency, talking about serving documents at my residence, and place of employment. They representative didn't give out their name, the amount of debt owed, the name of the collection agency, account number and a call back number. I've been receiving scam phone calls for six months now, and I'm beyond FED UP!!

I have received basically the same phone call with the same content too many times to count. The only thing that changes is the phone number displayed on caller ID. The most recent number the scammers called from will be blocked just like all the other ones. Even though I never answer the phone or call back these bozos the a__h@les just don't give up.

They all have case numbers.  This is a debt collecting company.  They buy old debt for pennies and try to get you to pay.  Even if you pay 1 dollar they got you and the whole debt is revalidated. They can then put it on your credit report.  Don't pay for old debt.  Past 7 years.

same as all above, only using my previous surname, I divorced over 13 years ago..They have been calling over 2 and a half years, even called my son about me..hahahaha, I do not have any debt, my bills are paid..Im so tired of this s##t.
