I Recieved This Phone Call & Dont Know If Its A Scam.

Received a call said it was from Alex Walton regarding my son.

I recited a call say if I don't pay they are going to press charges

Said they were a locator service calling for my brother in law. ..

call today voicemail "troy stevens with location services just calling to warn you that you are associated to the subject that we have retained to locate. recommend that you or the subject make voluntary communication with my office, I may be reached at 786 924-0918 my direct extension is 4010 GOOD LUCK......." wow sound like someone I know is in trouble...... lol...  maybe trump with find a real job for these folk.

Called to warn me that location services has been retained to locate subject, had all names correct. required to call 317-983-3257 extension 4011 immediatly....  I got the Good Luck also

Called asking if I could locate a person

got  same call yesterday afternoon - but used my last name from 17 years ago and location person not related to me

Called and left same message.....what extent will a bill collector go to? They are no one. I'd block the call as I did.

From a Different number .... Sound bogus in the extreme

We recommend that you or the subject make Voluntary communication with my office, I may be reached at 1-480-499-0381 my direct extension is 4010, GOOD LUCK

Yeah they called my mother n law house yesterday looking for my husband , not exactly sure what its about. The guy named was Troy Stevens as well.

I also received this call from Troy and then was transferred to Alex Walton after returning the call.  Claimed I owed a payday loan and threw out all this legal mumbo jumbo.  Put me on a three way call with a lady named Cynthia Brooks, who claimed she would suspect any legal action and agree to pay almost $1,000.  I called back the following business day and asked for everyone's contact information and informed them I had retained a family attorney to look into the matter.  They would not provide me any company information.  The number "Troy" provided me was the same exact number that "Alex" provided me.  Extension was the same.  Once I started asking questions, Alex transferred me to his "director" named Portia Smith who became irate and stated she was revoking me from a "monitored program" which involved me paying them a set amount each month.  I had made one payment to them after being threatened with legal action and she stated she was refunding me the money.  I received a receipt from a generic gmail address after my initial payment.  I 100% believe this is a scam and will be contacting the Attorney General.  Report them so they stop doing this to others.  I was unable to find any information regarding their company "Conversion Services".
