this company called me up with an old name from 16 yrs ago, asking  for this person, saying i have a G.E. alarm system,  ok, this is out  of ohio, while im in maryland. i do have alarm system, but it no way has anything to do with ohio, nor AMERITECH. but since they called up saying it wasnt to sell me anything, and were sketchy about  the call  i got annoied fast. we told them do not call again,  the person that used to live here  & hasnt for 15 yrs.  i felt it was cold fishing  us, looking for somethign else.. i hope another gets this number  and can write more info.

Disgruntledonotcallgirl. I just got the exact same call. She hung up when I started questioning her. They seem to be looking for some private information.

A woman asked to talk to someone who wasn't here...said she was with oir Alarm Co...may have been GE....they said they were sorry and hung up....suspicious we called the number back....no one answered except a voice wanted the name for the google suscriber

Received same call today.  Said they were ADT.  Read some similar posts claiming that they are finding homes that do not have security systems.

telemarketer prank call

Received a call from a lady that did not speak very good English.  The way she referred to me was very strange.  She used only my first name (other callers usually use Mr. "Lastname").  She said that she was from ADT and told me her records showed that I have been a customer for a couple years.  She then proceeded to tell me how much money I could save from upgrading my service.  I hung up and called back.  All I got was a voice wanting the name of the google subscriber.  

The caller didn't respond until I said hello about 4 times.  They asked for my mother.  They said they were from ADT Alarm Systems, and that we'd had an alarm for 3 years (which isn't true).  I hung up, dialed back using *67, and was asked for the Google subscriber name.

Just got the same call saying they were from ADT wanting to upgrade my service.  I actually do have ADT and I called them about the call.  They were super nice and told me that it was not their company calling.  She warned me not to give them any information.

Unknown caller, annoying calls

Got a call from 614-372-6636. I said hello and there was a pause then hang up

Hung up when I said hello....so annoying

Called at 7:40 pm and left no message.  I called back and left a message with them.  It was bleep, bleep, bleep, bleep, bleep.  Quit calling !

I got the same adt call I reported this to our local authorities.  suggest everyone to do the same if you live in a small community.

They said they wanted to talk about my GE home alarm system.  when I said my system is not GE, they hung up.

Number keeps calling.  No message is left.  I don't answer unidentified calls unless I recognize the number

Got a call from this number which was identified by my caller I.D. as Columbus, OH. I live in Central Delaware. I picked up the phone, said "Hello" several times to no response. I hung up and they have not called back yet. Calling the number back results in being led to an automated "Google Voice" system prompting the caller to leave their name while it "attempts to connect you."

Caller with THICK Indian accent calls and says he is Kenny McCormick with ADT.  (Kenny McCormick is a character on the cartoon SouthPark. (Oh my god, they killed Kenny!)).   Anyway.. got rid of his saying yes I have ADT.. just upgraded my equipment 6 months ago. don't your records show that?  Guy was actually friendly.  LOL

I got a call just a couple of minutes ago.  When I said hello about 3 times, then a voice (sounded mechanical) said "Goodbye".
