Called was from fraudulent adt home security

3:24 pm.caller ID: out of area.Female voice asked for me and stated she was calling from adt home security.Wanted to confirm that I had been using their alarm system for over three years.I told her that I didn't have adt and she apologized and I hung up before she could continue. 614 is local to my area and legit businesses shouldn't say out of area on caller ID.

called at 758 am 28 May 14 and hung up

2 mornings in a row I have received at call between 8:00 and 8:15 from 614-372-6866.  I answer and there is no one there.  If the call was from a fraudulent adt company as Steve above said you should NEVER tell them you don't have ADT because then you will be put on their list of people to rob.  Just tell them yes you have been a long time customer, are happy with the service and say thank you and hang up.  They have no way of knowing if you have ADT or not so stay safe and say you do.

Same as above, adt scam, calling at all hours including 10pm (past our bedtime). Filed online scam alert on Ohio Attorney General website.

Same as others - 10pm call supposedly from ADT to verify 3 years of having a security system, I also reported this to the Ohio Attorney General's office.

Adt scam--a real nuisance. I've blocked the number, told them that I am a renter (they call from a local number and I picked up when I thought it was a local call I was expecting), filed with the Ohio AG office and the calls keep on coming. Aggressive, rude, and repetitive calls with lots of hanging up.  Caller ID says 3x and always from local 614 number. One of the most annoying scams yet.

Called twice this morning and hung up when i answered my phone. Did the same thing about three weeks ago.

9 phone call over last few days,  I do not pick up.  Reported the number to Ohio Attorney General.

Called this evening and they asked for my husband by name.  I told them "wow - can't believe you still have HIS name on file!"  She hung up pretty quick.   Made me chuckle because he was standing right next to me

Calls every evening never says anything then after a minute hangs up abruptly. Did obtain info that it is a private number VOIP via AT & T. located in Westerville Ohio. To get complete info had to pay for the service to obtain Name and Address which I'm not going to pay for this info. Sick people in this world.

Got the call and same as above.  Wanting to check on our service with ADT after three years of service with them, which we dont have.  No worries, i have my own security.  ;)

Called today @ 10:10am.  I let machine answer.  Heard voice say "Hello" then hang up.

I can't verify if following info is correct.  I always get a busy signal when dialing the 372-6866 number, and fax448-9691 just gives message that number can't be completed as dialed.

Found this number for 3x: (614) 372-6868. Machine answers and say "Leave a message."
I'm not sure if it is really 3x- could be some kind of spoofing.

Again, the following info may not be correct, as the caller may be spoofing.  I just added  614-372-6866 to my blocked calls list.

caller id reads: 3X and then 372 6866.

this number shows up on my caller ID but leaves no message.....
