This number had called me multiple... I mean multiple times and never leaves a message. I've never seen the number before Oct 15th.

Have received numerous calls from this number.  They do not leave messages.

I have been getting calls from this # for about a week now and when I pick the phone up no one respond even when I call it back.

[***]............. Calls every freaking day. Since I don't know the #, I refuse to pick it up. Who the freak is is?????

It has to be some sort of bill collector, because whenever I call the number back from my home line (theyc all my cell) they ask for the "number we called you on" to "locate your records".

I just called and got a recording and they said it was cbcs. A collection agency and they have been calling for weeks. This is the first time i have got that recording and they said please hold while we look up your records.

This call is from CBCS in Columbus, OH.  They collect for medical practices and hospitals.  They will send you letters before they start calling you.  And in accordance with debt collecting calls in Ohio, they will remove your phone number from their records if you ask them to do so.

based on my experience, it is just better to answer these calls and figure out what they want.  If you can't pay them, you can't pay them.  But at least you can tell the collector your circumstances and ask them to stop calling you.  After all, that is your right.

Answered the call from this number. The only thing I heard from the other end was music; I waited almost a full minute to see if anyone would come on the line, no one did, so I hung up. I'm adding this number to my contacts as CBCS (debt collector) and blocking it. Anyone who actually wants to talk to me can leave a voice mail telling me what they want, so I can call them back. Otherwise, I don't need the aggro.

just called no message... i dont have any medical bills so idk wtf it is.. i hate it when ppl dont leave a voicemail!!

Call came in at 8:30am 23Mar2013.  Unable to answer, was still in bed.  Since I changed my cell phone number after I moved several months ago I keep getting calls from what I figure are bill collectors trying to contact the person that had the number before me.  Had the same problem with land line phone for 9 years at former residence.
