- John| 9 repliesReceived a call from 614-407-1045. Caller id said 'Columbus OH'. I never answer calls from numbers I don't know. They left a voicemail indicating that it was someone from 'Fraud Division' and they needed to "talk to you in the office". They identified no company or who they were calling for. Clearly a fraud of some sort.
- Tired!!!I received a call from this number with a recording stating to press 1 to be connected to an investigator. I hung up. Called the number back from another phone. A Mrs. White answered and refused to give the company name. Wanted to get the number they called me on first. I told her I would not give my personal number without knowing what company I was speaking to. She still refused to tell me the company name. I hung up. SCAM!!! if they are legit they give you the company name.
- Caller: No given
- Timreceived a call from this number saying this was pre-trail intervention and to press 1 to speak with someone.
- CorinaI have received the same phone call saying i took out a loan almost three years ago and that prosecution was going to be brought upon me if i didn't pay back the company which was Advance LLC. I have looked up the supposed company called litigation support group, which i'm being called from this company and having rude messages left on my cell phone. they wouldn't give me any information as to who what where and when only saying that i owed them x amount of money or i'd go to jail within the next 24-48 hours.
- Caller: Litigation Support Group
- corina replies to John| 1 replythey did the same thing to me. threatening me that if i didn't pay i'd go to jail and when my husband called the number back they gave a different name and he asked what the company name was again they hung up on him and he called back again and they just hung up the phone on him. So i called again from my husbands phone and a guy answered his name was "Mark" and I asked him the company name and he said that he had to look up the phone number and if it wasn't someone they were looking for they wouldn't give you the company name.
- R.P| 2 repliesFor the past two days I've been getting calls from 6144071044 and 6144071045. Today I called them back they stated I took out a loan back when I was in college over 7 yrs ago and that prosecution was going to brought upon me if I don't pay back Advance LLC. I have looked up the supposed company called litigation support group, which whi is calling me and leaving rude messages left on my cell phone. They wouldn't give me any information as to who, what, where and when I took this loan and only said that 8 owed them between $500-$700 and if I don't come into some settlement I'd have felony charges against me and I would go to jail within the next 24-48 hours. I asked for some legal information so that I could have my boss who is a attorney look at and she hung up. The two people at spoke with at litigation support group are John Webb and supervisor Amy Strattsord.
- Caller: Litigation support group/advance llc

When she said get the money from family and friends I knew it was a bill collector. I started repeating what she said to me. When she started claiming up I told her I would simply replay this conversation since all my calls are recorded. She hung up after I said that.

- DONEI AM SO DONE WITH THESE SCUMBAGS. I HAD MY LOCAL PD CALL THEM AND THEY DID NOT LIKE THAT AT ALL, THEY REALIZE I AM ON TO THERE SCAM. SO PLEASE PEOPLE DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY PERSONAL INFO AND MORE IMPORTANT MONEY.
SCAM!!!!!!!!!!SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! - SCAMJust to be clear: You will not go to jail for failure to pay off a loan! I have had payday loans before, and I believe that those crooks give out your number to these scam artists. They are betting that you forgot to pay one off. It's laughable that actual police would come to your door and arrest you over a few hundred dollars!
- BigAThis is a common ploy by criminals attempting to extort money from people by scaring you into believing that you will be criminally charged, go to jail, lose your driver’s license, have wages garnished, etc. all for an alleged or nonexistent debt.
Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt. It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes. The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.
