got a call from this number May 19 at 9:08 am. the ID said CBC Companies?

This is CBC Innovis, they've changed their name from CBC companies.  Amongst other things they do debt collection, credit services. etc. My guess is, just another bottom feeder.

CBC calling again for Larry Russell, I'm a chic, don't know him and so tired of them calling me.  I can't even begin to imagine where these people get telephone number from .  I had a brand new never used number and two months after I got it CBC started calling.  IT'S BS.

They call me continuously!!  It's started to get on my nerves.  How do you get them to stop?

They call me two times a day, one time is early in the morning I work night shifts so they always wake me up. I'm tired I want them to stop now

These idiots have called me over and over - yet never leave a message. What the heck do they think they are going to accomplish by calling me constantly for over a week now? They never left a message I do not call them back or answer their calls and finally I decided to look the area code up to find out where they are and I find this website full of many others annoyed by them. I am so happy I did not call them back. All I can do is reject there calls which only sends them immediatly to voice mail.

They just called for a Veronica Stobal something like that, So I actually talk to a person and tell them they have the wrong phone number. So they said, "I will remove your phone number imediately" we will see.

I received numerous phone calls from CBC Companies. This company calls my house twice a day. I am so sick and tired of the harassing calls. The don't take NO! for an answer. Please! stop calling my house and disturbing my Peace!

I too keep getting calls from them. I have talked to them four times now and they still call back. So now it is time to fight back I want everyone who reads this to give their number to all your friends and have them call every day. If they are going to waste our time let's waste  theirs. It's a company called CBCS, thanks to this lovely chain I did some research and found their number. I just called and got off the list. Their number is 1800-498-2223

Wish they would quit  calling me everyday!! I know I owe but I ruined my credit due to this company reporting my motgage fees,etc. Now I can't get a job because most companies run your credit!! Well my credit might or would be better if an employer would give me chance to work to pay it back!! Even explained throughly to the Employer that I could save them time and I would help to get bad accounts like mine paid back? By working for them free til I collect enough or worked enough to pay my account off? They laughed in my face!! I thougt it was a brillant idea!! Any suggestions what to try next?? These stupid bottom feed ing scum already tried illegally harassing me at this same number.  Already blacklisted and all they will get each time they call is the disconnected number message (and SIT tone) ... so they can try calling all they want until hell freezes over!!! They won't get through.

And yes, just as others have said here, they are ALSO CBCS Collections as well as CBC Innovis, Inc. I already have some lawyers working on several other notorious pond scum like these [***] and have informed these same lawyers about the latest illegal harassing calls from these pigs!

It's all right there, folks! See if you can find a lawyer/attorney/law firm that specializes in such scum as these and nail them! It will be well worth it if you do!!! And like all of you I literally have NO debt of any kind to speak of and do NOT owe anyone anything! My credit is good and healthy so by their making such harassing calls (all minus dunning letter and/or validation of debt) is totally unlawful and a clear violation of FDCPA and even FCRA laws!!

I got a call from this number too, so of course I looked it up on here and lo and behold it's another one of these idiots!!  I took Lindsey's advice, see below (june 7), and called the 1-800 number and talked to a very nice lady.  I explained that the person she was looking for owns this house and we rent it. The idiot landlord didn't tell us when we moved in, March, that he was losing the house to foreclosure and still let us move in here.  When you get a knock at your door from a realtor, for the bank, saying you have 90 days to get out, it kind of puts a bad taste in your mouth (i'm being nice and not swearing...lol).  Anyway, the lady on the phone was very nice and said she would take the number off their call list.  Call that 1-800 number and it will get taken care of!!

They also are the same lowlifes as CBCS Collections that are notorious for violating FDCPA laws, been sued by the FTC many times for their unethical and illegal actions

Besides, why call you instead of your landlord when they were trying to reach them? Was the number they called the same as the landlords? Or did your landlord ever have the phone number you have now? I pretty much doubt it! Best thing to do is actually not go along with them especially if you have no debt to begin with, find a lawyer that handles such matters and pursue stopping these lowlifes from making their illegal harassing calls!
They are junk collectors who collect old debts that have either been already paid off and/ or the statute of limitations has expired ... and as I mentioned they also try collecting on non existent debts too! Their tactics are unethical in how they try and get people to "pay up" (threats, constant, continuous harassing calls in an effort to wear down and scare people into "paying").
