Another robo call from another robo scammer I don't normally answer #s  outside my areacode slick willies used  one that at first glance looks like ours  started with a recorded msg something about business security when I hung up

I call back, it was a recorded message say...if you like to remove from our list of promotion please press 2.
I did....I did not listen to rest of message.
I far as I can tell it is some kind scam promo

Update from a little while ago,yes they have called again,its the free wireless security system scam I don't know about the rest of you but I don't think I want my security in the hands of someone that broke the law to try to sell it to me

I blocked these people over 3 months ago, but they've changed their numbers and are calling again.

Who writes their copy now, lawyers? They mention "...no cost whatsoever.." three times!

These people call whether you're on the Do Not Call list or not. Doesn't that suggest something about them? Don't bother to press 9 to be removed from their predictive dialer, they won't. Much better not to answer calls whose Caller ID you don't recognize.

I couldn't record the call this time, but it was exactly like another call from them during the summer, except they're using a male voice now:

"<male voice>Hello. The FBI reports there was a home break in every 15 seconds. Your local police recommend you protect your home. If you will allow us to place a small sign in your yard, we will install a new security system at absolutely no cost to you whatsoever. There is no cost for the system or the installation whatsoever. To hear more, press 1 now. To be placed on our Do Not Call list, press 9.

They call from all kinds of numbers and no matter how many times I ut my number on their do not call list  they still call.

My gosh...these people are persistent!  This is the same company calling about a security system.  Same message: installation and product are free, but you pay a monthly service fee.  They claim it is a "GE Security System".  They keep calling from different phone numbers. They call land lines and wireless. They totally ignore the National DNC registry (just what good is the do-not-call registry if they can blatantly ignore it?).

Same scam artists that call with their "current promotion" from a variety of numbers. As usual, I redialed several times and pressed "two" to "be added to (our) do not call list". As usual, I'm sure this will be ignored like all the previous times I've called these maggots with the same request!

I emailed General Electric Co, about the telemarketing for a free GE Alarm System  from phone number(6145160280) .   I asked them to look into the matter as it makes there company look bad.  Pleas do the same, the more complaints to GE the faster this problem will get fixed.

I don't answer calls from out of state area codes. Thanks to those who posted. Trend Micro has a great call blocker program for cell phones. It doesn't even allow the call to ring or go to voicemail, it just hangs up any call on your blocked call list.

Love that places like this exist.  While the call is still ringing, I check the number out here.  If it comes up a robocall, I block it on my phone.  Takes me a few seconds, and saves me so much aggravation.

Claimed a GE Security system.

so, I press 1 to talk to someone.  They claim to be from Royal Security out of Georgia.  When I ask for a street address the guy says thank you and hangs up on me!  

This is just a scam.  Any reputable company will give their business address!  

A Google search of "Royal Security" in Georgia finds no legitimate business.

I have an app  called  Mr  number. I put their phone number into the app, now my phone doesn't even ring. I just get a notification that a call was made from the blocked number. A real time saver.

"Press 1 to speak to someone".  So i press 1 and when they get on the line i then press down and hold a number until they hang up.

ANOTHER scammy robo call.  Loser.

I press 1 and talk to them, tell them I shopping for an alarm system now and would love to have someone come over for a look at my house.. I give a fake address.. saleman calls later  to make appointment, I let him go to wrong address and waste his [***] time ! when he calls to confirm my address, then I tell him what a looser he is for working with a company like that.. I do it all the time, waste my time ? I give it right back to you... [***]

Call received 11/5/2013 at 5:21PM.  I never answer calls from numbers I don't recognize, consequently, I did not answer this one.  Call blocker is full, darn it!!  As previously reported, caller ID indicates "DBD".

They called here just now and I did not pick up the phone. We do not  purchase anything from those who harass us by calling with a Robo call.

They called me at 5:57pm, EST. I'm on the federal and Pennsylvania DNC lists, too! I was not offered a chance to press any numbers to be placed on a "do not call" list.
