Called 8 times in the last 2 days.   Political poll about 2 local Republican Party candidates.   When you call the number back, a recording says you can have your number removed from their call list by leaving your number and then hangs up.

I refuse to answer these calls as they don't identify themselves, and the questions are always skewed to what ever party is paying them.

It must be that time of year again. No pickup, no message. Are these people so embarrassed about what they're doing that they can't even have a meaningful CID?

He wanted to talk with my husband who was unavailable so I offered to help but he told me twice, "that is not a good thing" (had an accent).  He sounded very much like a scammer who almost got $1500.00 from my husband a month ago until I interceded and stopped it.  The guy called back several times that day (like 30 or 40 times) trying to reach my husband but I kept answering the phone, refused to let him talk with my husband which frustrated him to no end - lol  Told him a few times not to call back but many of these calls come from other countries who do not have to obey American laws.  Why do the phone companies allow this harassment?  *angry face*  Now today we get a call with a 614 area code - my home town area code but I haven't lived there for almost 20 years and my husband has never lived there.  I seldom answer calls I do not recognize but thought It might be a friend who got my number so I took a chance and answered and have no doubt our scammer has returned because of similarities in the calls.    SO tired of all these unwanted calls and that includes charities and political calls.  We are on the Do Not Call list, for all the good that does as we started receiving sales calls so I went in today and renewed our number on the Do Not Call list but this creep scammer already has our number --- AND will call back with a new number on his end  *angry face*
