Google online business listing verification.  Yeah right.

Also got the google call...i think phishing...blocked

got a call saying they were a rep from 'Google, Yahoo, Bing' regarding my online business. ... lol nupe

AUtomated caller. When transferred to a person, hung up when I asked for his name and the name of his company. Return call would not connect me to a person.

They called my cell--this is now approximately the 15th number used by this particular "Google" related "company."  They are blocked.

They called me.  I didn't answer.  They left no message.
By the way, Google never calls.  It is always someone trying to sell you something like Google search standings.  But they have no control over that, so .. Yeah,  $cam.

Answered this call, today, from a cell phone and the recorded message stated that it was a service representing Google, Yahoo, and Bing, calling to resolve issues with 'the business owner.'

I pressed the required keys until I reached a human being and, when I stated "Please remove me from your list" they hung up without a word.

[***] Crap Kinda Tiered of it

Robocaller. When transferred to a person, hung up when I asked for his last name.

Called, no message. Blocked.

Received call, did not recognize #, did not answer, no message.  Wasting my time with these jokers!

They hung up as soon as I Answered.

googlebot scam

For you cell phone people who get calls like this.. get the app called Call Control.. you'll love it.  Got a call today from this number.. Call Control answered it and hung up.. as it's a blocked number they have used before.

No name on caller id but it hung up after a few seconds. Waste of time.

I did my research- Help put this robo call company out of business by calling them
the number 614-548-0722 belongs to Local lighthouse out of southern California ( 13681 Newport Ave #8153 Tustin California 92780 . Business Phone:    (888) 370-8231, and web site: http://www.locallighthouse.com.  Eric Oakley is the founder and CEO.
People in business need to do there due diligence before effecting or calling other people, the number they called for me is on the do not call list, they do not care because they do not check.

EVERY ONE NEEDS TO CALL THERE CORPORATE NUMBER 1-888-370-8231 UNTILL YOUR TIRED OF CALLING IT, REMEMBER THEY ARE IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA, A 3 HOUR DELAY, SO START CALLING AT 11 AM UNTIL 8 PM.

Received one of these calls unsolicited to my mobile #. Don't just call their toll free #, open a BBB complaint:

http://www.bbb.org/sdoc/business-reviews/inte ... aints#breakdown

They currently have an A-. See if we can bring that down to something more deserving.

The day prior to this company calling me (which I did not answer) I received a notice from google that my account has been logged into, so I logged in to see what devices had used my account (after changing my password). Scary thing is it has been logged into from a device in canton Ohio. This number is from canton Ohio and if you all are saying it is a google scam, make sure your password gets updated.  This is a highly unethical and illegal operation if no coincidence. I'm not sure where to take it but maybe someone else knows.

We're on the national do not call registry.

This number called around 1:30pm. Picked it up and hear a recorded message claiming that our Google/Bing/Yahoo standings were all kerfuckled. (They're not. Our company offers SEO snake oil just like all the other web devs.) After pressing a couple menu options I got a real person. I asked for his company's name and he hung up on me. Tried calling back and the number won't connect.

So then I came here and saw the phone number and website for Local Lighthouse. Called them up and spoke with Chelsea. Told her everything I've told you and she says, "I've been getting a *lot* of phone calls like that." She proceeds to blame it on competitors using these tactics. I asked her to check if her company uses different phone numbers to make outgoing calls and she said that they don't.

To be clear: I don't trust her as far as I can throw her, but can we get some further verification that they're the ones making these calls before we wreck their BBB standing?

Caller was stating they represent Google listing. Caller was quite rude when I question why they stated my business was not listing on any search engine. By the way my business is working fine online.
