Called to discuss my previous schooling. Said he had good news for me.

He wanted me to verify that the last four digits of the SSN he read were mine. I refused to verify until he could tell me why he was calling.

He couldn't, so I refused to verify anything.

I called them back and they wanted my name, wouldn't give it to them, I asked what it was about and they didn't tell me. They asked if my name was Carrie and I told them no so they said it was a mistake, but they were very rude about it . I told them not to call again. I think they just picked a Carrie out of the air to see if I would ask to it.

rude scam artist wanted information from me. I told her to go to hell and she hung up right quick ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
