verizon i think might be a scam. I didnt stay on the line long enough to find out

I just got a phone call from that # as well.
I didn't answer it. I don't know anyone from Columbus OH.

I called the # back.
It is verizon, I had a few upgrade option for my cell phone package.

I am a T-Mobile customer and I received a call - actually, several calls.  I've never answered.  Googled number to find out who was calling and found this info - thanks!

Called my phone and said nothing.  I called the number back and there was nothing also.  No ring, no answer.

Looks like I fall in with all the others on this number showing up on my  Verizon Wireless phone.

It is Verizon. They offered a cheaper plan for me. I called the *611 back just to make sure that someone from their company had actually called me, since I have been reading online that the number is a scam, and it was legit and I got a better plan out of the deal!

they identified themselves as a Verizon Rep...wanted to review my phone info...told her I was a the verizon store an hour ago with some phone issues and she hung up.

Same Verizon Rep issue. I asked for a call-back number and she said that there wasn't a way for me to call back (really?) but that she would call me.  When I called *611 they had no record of a verizon rep contacting me.

Received a call from the number. I did not answer, but I called the number back and it was a Verizon sale center. Use to have them, they did not care enough to keep a good customer.

Exact same problem . . . didn't answer the first time, answered the second time person called and no answer.

This number (614-789-3180) called my Vz cell April 27, 2010 @3:28 PM ET and on April 29, 2010 @ 1:19 PM ET. I did not answer and no message was left. I didn't try to call back... from what I read here it is just Vz trying to sell something that i don't need.

I just hit *60 and put them on my call block list to avoid further calls.

It is Verizon!  My contract is up and they are trying to get me to upgrade smartphones and start a new 2 year contract.  I am playing hardball, and they keep increasing the incentives to stay with them.  I will not pay for a new smartphone AND agree to a $350 early termination fee.  We'll see how bad they want to retain my business.

614-789-3180 calls my cell phone several times a day.  I have not yet answered.  Time to put a stop to this unwanted caller from Dublin, OH !!

Gi\ot the call but did not amswer it and they did not leave a message. My verizon contract is up so it could be Verizon trying to reup????????? Might not at this point. Better deals out there!

I am a Verizon subscriber, but this number identified as Dublin, OH called me on my home land line.

I am a Verizon subscriber as well.  This was my first call from this number so I googled it and found these postings.  I did not answer and no message was left.  If I find out anything else I will post again.  Thanks.
