- JasonI have a samsung gear S which has its own cell phone number. I have had this watch for over a year and a half. I do not know the cell number given to it because I just use my actual cell phone for calls. I am always astonished when my watch starts ringing when no one has its number, including me. Yes, I could call my cell from it to get the number, the point is, i have no reason to. So, I get 2 calls today from this number on my watch. I answer each time and they just hang up. I called back and a guy with the heaviest middle eastern accent answered the phone and said they were chase. I asked them who they were looking for. They said they couldn't reveal that information. They wanted me to tell them who I was before they revealed who they were looking for. Well, I wouldn't so...
- Caller: So called "Chase"
- JMGPDX replies to No, duh...| 1 replyLogically one could make that claim about any of the numbers listed on this site then. So what's the point?
- The point is... replies to JMGPDX...you can't rely on the Caller ID or what the caller says to prove that they are who they claim to be.
- JoeDon't know who it is, but I use got the 30th call from it, no message and its Sunday. I have never received a business call of any kind on a Sunday.

- DG replies to anonNot true. I work for BOA and we use different phones numbers to place outbound calls all the time. Most times we use the area code of the customer we are calling. We provided an 800, 866, 888 number when leaving a message.

- Abbey at Westminster| 2 repliesCaller ID said JP Morgan Chase, called on a Sunday morning. Man had a thick Indian accent and asked for a resident (we are a luxury retirement community), obviously a scammer. Chase would never call on a Sunday morning.
- Caller: "JP Morgan Chase"
- David S| 2 repliesIts a scam, first of all chase never calls you from a number like this and second he asked me for my social to pull up my account. Chase never asks for your social they ask to enter your debit card number. Scam!
