Calls and asks for me, doesn't speak English very well, then hangs up.

same thing happened to me about 20 mins ago

Called my cell, then called my office, asked receptionist for me specifically, then hung up after he was transferred.  About 40 mins ago.

Likewise. First my office line, then my mobile.  Number can't be dialed back, recording indicates it's not a working number.  How is that possible?

Number called and hang up... Called back a few min later I said my name, they repeated my name and laughed and hung up..

wondered the same thing....

Called my cell phone, asked for me, when I responded, they immediately hung up.  Strong Indian accent.

Office through reception, mobile, office via direct dial....the only three numbers on my business card.
Seems to have stopped after the 3 calls.

What the hell.  Same thing.  Some Indian accent dude calling thru the office switchboard and hangs up when I answer.  Called back on my direct line to confirm my name and say sorry and the line cuts again.

What new scam is this?

Called, asked for someone who (as far as i know) has never worked here.
When I said we had no one by that name he asked if I was the switchboard (I should add, his English was ATROCIOUS). I said I was, then he demanded that I check our global listings. I told him I was was positive no one with that name worked here.
he then hung up.

Same thing has happened to me twice now, and I've called the number back and the number says it's a non working number.....I'm totally not ok w/ this I'm gunna cuss him out next time.

Just got me too. Called, asked if it was my name. Hang up... frikin [***]. Terrible accent.

Constantly call.  Asking for a multitude of names.  "I'm returning their call....."
Won't give their name, don't speak English well enough to understand them beyond spelling the name of the person they are trying to reach.  Asked to be removed from their distribution list.  Hung up.  Calls happen daily, at least 2-5 times a day.

I had two missed calls on my office phone from this number (614-906-7706) at 6:39am and 6:40am this morning. I was at home asleep at the time, and nobody left a voice mail.

Same thing. Called me and asked for me then I kept saying hello and he didn't say anything. Tried to call back and it said it wasn't a working number

Called my office and asked for an employee by name. When I said she didn't work out of this location he was very rude and demanded her phone number. Then he just hung up.

I just received the same phone call. The guy asked the receptionist to talk to me, I answered the phone, he mispronounced my last name, I corrected him and then he hung up.

Just had him call cell then office said he was from CITI I assume CITIBANK.

Called my cell, said my name, when I asked who was calling, he hung up.
