Advanced loans ARE NOT illegal. They are, in fact, legal in almost every state. 875% seems high, but that is lower than the normal rate for payday/advance loans.
WORD TO THE WISE!!!!! Listen up people please. ANYTIME someone asks or demands money upfront to give you a loan, regardless of the amount of money they want or the loan amount you want, IT IS A SCAM. No place will ask for money up front to provide a loan. Everyone knows that if you had the money to send them, you wouldn't need the loan in the first place.
Do your due diligence and start cross referencing phone numbers on the internet. It is not hard to do. It is like GEICO. 15 minutes can save you a ton of money and headache. - It's a scam replies to Billy Venable IIAbove post is not true or correct. Payday loan legalities vary from State to State. They are illegal in many US States. As does the interest rate. To request an advance fee to obtain a loan is illegal in every US State. If the loan lender is not located in your State, or your Country, there are problems. The Laws of the US can give you no protection on out of country lenders.
- pecola replies to Ira| 1 replyGot the same call on 1-7-2016 but they wanted $303.00 up front for the insurance. After I told the person that's why I am applying for the loan because I had no money. They hung up. When I called back 30 minutes later the person answered the phone by saying hello. Now we all know that you do not answer a business phone by saying hello. Big red flag!!!
- Em| 1 replyThey keep calling me but I haven't picked up. They keep calling my daughter as well. I applied for a loan awhile ago but it wasn't through this company so why would they be calling me??
