when i answered the call, it hang up on me :(

I don't normally answer our home phone if I don't recognize the number, but I did this time and he asked for me by name, first and last, I said I wasn't available, he then asked for my husband by name, again, first and last name, when I told him he also wasn't available, he said, "tell him Denny Polk called about the tickets"  then hung up.
My husband and I neither one know anything about any tickets....

The same thing happened to me and we don't get tickets to anything. The call shows up from Murfreesboro.

i just got the call from this number i didn't answer it shows up from murfreesboro and i called it back and it asks me to enter in my password for my mailbox

Got a call from this number, caller ID said it was from Mufreesboro. No voice on the other end, hung up as soon as I said "Hello?". Called it back and got a generic voice mailbox.

Received phone call from this number, too on JAN 4 2011 at 6:32PM, caller ID also said Murfreesboro TN but did not anwer and they left no voice mail.

We receive repeated calls from this number and it is Denny Polk with the Murfreesboro Fire Department.  I made the mistake of buying tickets several years ago to a "play" benefiting their programs with the Fire Department and education in schools.  Now they call every year, even after my husband asked them to stop calling and that we weren't interested.  He called again tonight at 7:45pm and stated that he was Denny Polk with the Murfreesboro Fire Dept.

Its the Murfreesboro Fire Fighters Association Local 3035. www.mffa3035.org. Not the department, the department is funded by taxes, state and city funding. The union is made up of the Murfreesboro Professioanl Firefighters and raises funds for local fire safety and community outreach programs throughout all of Rutherford County. These programs are solely provided by community support and are operated off duty by Murfreesboro Firefighter. The proceeds from the tickets is what keeps the programs active to save homes and lives and is always greatly appreciated :)

keeps calling, leaves no message

I have recieved the same calls. Last year I dontated money for tickets and now they wont stop calling. I figure that once was enough. Please stop calling me.

This number just called me at 5:15 pm... i dont know who it is .. he asked for my uncle at first then, i said his sister lives here but not him, then hes says can i talked to her and i already spoke to much, so to cover up i said shes not here, then he hung up on me.... so i *69,so i can get the number that called from.. as i read all of the other comments before mine.. i am blocking some numbers tonight.. thanks

Denny Polk, Murfreesboro Fire Dept.  I told him I was at work, so he needed to tell me what he wanted (he started with a lot of small talk/chit chat about nothing).  He asked when a better time would be and I told him now or not at all.  He thanked me and hung up.  Rude.

I get calls from them too.  They said they were the Murfreesboro Fire Dept ... told them I live in New York, not Murfreesboro.    Now they keep calling.  I think if I were gonna donate to a fire dept, it would be the one that would have my house, not one 900 miles away.  We have family in Murfreesboro, but we don't live there... yet.
